Really great tour. I was gifted a house in Beverly Hillls years ago. The couple were christians and told me that their children would never come back to Jamaica, They owned a pharmacy, I told them that I don't have a car and I would definitely need one. They waited on me to accept the offer. When I was ready to take the offer, I went to the pharmacy to let them know; but the pharmacy was closed. I tried to contact them but to no avail. I did not go to the church to make enquiries about them, because I didn't want to hear anything negative. In this life, grasp opportunities when they come and then thank God then ask God to guide you after, Now, I need a house.

Red button Journal thanks again for the epic view, over looking the Caribbean Sea. As a child you would dream of living up in Beverley Hills. These neighbourhoods have been organized from way back when to keep violence out of them. Most of these owners own businesses in the cooperate area, and down Town Kingston, and abroad. Some were sold to middle class people in the Manley era, and reboth again when Mr. Seaga won. It's a very nice neighbourhood free of violence. The other neighbourhood like Duhaney Park, Patrick City, and Pembroke Hall etc. Could do the same too.Most Prime Ministers lived in Vale Royal off Lady Musgrave Rd. Back then. I don't know where the present Prime Ministers lived now. Keep Up The Good Work. Blessings.

Also, I've watched other driveby videos, and from what I remember when they pointed out where the prime minister lives, it looks like yall passed it at the very beginning of the video, around 1:36.

Glad you enjoyed it and finally got to drive through Beverly Hills Jamaica. Yes, we were practically passed the Prime Minister‘s residence before I even noticed that there was a house up there. But we couldn’t see it over that massive wall of his. One of the very next houses after that belongs to a Asafa Powell, a great Jamaican sprinter. We appreciate your comment. I stayed in an AirBNB in Beverley Hills back in 2012. It was a villa called Eagles Nest. Nice night view of Kingston & Norman Manley Airport. Beverley Hills is a nice area to live in.

In some African countries too they eat the prickle pear cactus fruit I tried some for the first time and it’s actually delicious and refreshing.

When we lived in America, we often saw the prickly pear cactus in the produce section at the grocery store. I once received a jar of prickly pear barbecue sauce. That was some of the best barbecue sauce I had ever tasted. I’ve never tried just the prickly pear by itself, but I sure did love that barbecue sauce. The only place I could buy it was from a place I knew of in Arizona and so I have a family member who lived down there, send me a jar from time to time. 👍👍🏾❤️🇯🇲

I lived in Mona Heights where all the streets are named after flowers 😊 If you look up from Bougainvillea Avenue which faces Hope Rd, you have a view of Jack’s Hill (neighborhood) in the mountains 😊

Jamaica is a beautiful island I have always said it, you have a lot of wealthy people there the only disadvantage we have! we don’t have a strong enough middle-class you’re either wealthy are you on the poor side. But amazing and beautiful land space that these houses have, exceptional.

28:00 Long Mountain country club is a gated community for holiday homes and AirBnb. 34:00 This is one of my favourite home..... The homes in Beverly Hills are lovely, but my biggest concern is availability of water to up the mountain.... The home owners would have to build water storage tanks especially for the drought season in the summer.

Yes, old money Jamaicans use t live in BH. The PM house is the one they showed at the start of the video with the very high wall, where you cannot see the house. Norbrook is my place, love Norbrook.

So far I like Beverly Hills the best. Smiling! So Tom and Madge, the American Immigration Officers, where do they live while they are on assisgnment in Jamaica? I am sure it is upscale too.

I’m not certain about the immigration officers, but I do understand that employees at the American Embassy in Jamaica stay on Long Road just off Stony Hill Road, in an area near Orange Grove. I’m sure it must be pretty nice. Blessings ❤️❤️❤️

Quite a few owners of homes in Beverly Hills sold out their homes for very little during the Manley era to Middle class people, whose to stay, but those same middle-class people themselves rose to prominence after the Manley era ended, and those houses which were invaded by squatters, the squatters were run out, so all the people living there now are affluent. Actually, a lesser-known fact some of the original owners returned to reclaim their homes as well in the eighties. On the top of Shenstone, you passed by my best friend's house. The cactus you were wondering about is called brain cactus.
