Love our Gen 8 cause it’s an absolute beast and other than having to replace a transfer case only because the driveshaft bolt was seized in the transfer case shaft we haven’t replaced anything. Just keeping up with your standard maintenance and it’s been such an incredible trail/rock crawling rig. My 9yr old son is an absolute studd driving his. Other than some basic upgrades new receiver and controller(fly sky GTS5) wheels and tires as well as running Lizard Shocks front and rear, RCS Engine sound simulator(awesome) and light kit with custom DIY LED rock lights we haven’t had to repair this rig for almost 3yrs. It’s absolutely amazing. I will say that the front and rear diffs make a little noise even greased up but no shavings so we are just letting the big dog eat until it says no way Jose. Really want to grab a Gen 9 to do a comparison on my channel one day. However my son and I are quite intrigued with the Ascent LCG platform and already have our colors chosen and just waiting hopefully for some Black Friday or Xmas deals floating around before pulling that trigger. I love my OG Kaiju and absolutely enjoy every minute I get driving it. It’s such a great platform and I think people are really missing out not giving the Kaiju’s a try. It’s fast oN 4S and 6S is almost to much while 5S is the sweet spot IMO as the ESC doesn’t get that hot. Finally broke my first rear control arm after about 100+ jumps dialing on the suspension. Oh the sway bar upgrade is amazing and everyone with one needs them for the fact that it really is a game changer as far as handling is concerned. My son really wants an EXT or Machete for his next basher truck and the 6S seems to be the way to go since you can run it at 4S is need be. Anyway thanks for putting out such great products and amazing customer service support. It’s a big reason why we keep buying RedCat and will continue to do so…so keep up the great work. Hopefully soon I’ll be showing off one of our new rigs here really soon for y’all. Just waiting for the right deal to land in our lap. Thanks again for all that you do. Keeping it real and taking care of your customers is huge today. Your definitely a standard to which many should take notes and follow. Redcat #1,#2, hell #3-10 etc etc lol.
