I was fortunate to meet Redd after a show, we sat and talked for close to an hour, I mentioned to him, how I loved his work, he was thrilled to hear it, he was one of the greatest men I've ever met, I was so amazed to think, I could go back stage, meet him after his show, I thought, 5 minutes, yet we talked for almost an hour, and then he gave me a personalized autograph. I learned so much being with him one on one, he was a great guy, sure. God Bless ya REDD!!!

I was in las vegas this weekend passed and went to redd foxxs burial monument and cleaned it up for him, and set the flowers upright, someone put a quarter and a few pennies on it so I put them all on heads and played my respects...then I went by his home and now Its a real estate office, I walked around it and looked at how it looks on TV. Ft like he was walking beside me...awesome moment for me..

Joey Trimble I saw a video of the media saying his property was haunted..I walked on the property and felt peace...being at his grave and seeing the rosy red stone and fox on it, made me feel like he was right there thanking me....I wish there was a way to see how his widow is doing these days...I'm sure she's doing well on the rerun royalties...

GREATEST HOBO OF ALL TIMES did Redd Foxx have any family? If so, why didn't they get his belongings that was in the house? Or no one was allowed to remove them do to the IRS taking his things? Also, I think that was very nice of you to do what you did. I remember when the IRS went to his home and took all of his things and I was watching it on tv. It was so sad I remember crying.

He was my neighbor in Vegas. On Eastern and Russell Street. We would see each other at Giuseppes Pizza which was across the street from both of us. A very nice man. But I could so tell he was very sad inside. That whole I.R.S thing broke his heart and spirit. R.I.H Rest In Heaven Redd. Thank you for your time and smiles.

Yes, I was his neighbor too i lived down the street from him on Tropicana, he was one of the coolest people I ever met, and he told me all about what the irs was doing to him. They made him sell all his personal stuff and everything its actually sad to watch this for those who knew him back then. His heart was broke like you said. And his neighbors all knew how hard this was for him. He will be missed always.

Thanks for post in this I watched redd foxx on unsung the other night he avoided the government and they took everything and reportedly left him with a mattress. At least he died making a comeback on that show with Della Resse and he died on set of a heart attack in 1991. The late great REDD FOXX
