So So fortunate I've been able to see them as many times as I have. I'm in the Chicago area and I'm 51 next month (haha, oddly, my wife is in the other room with the door closed watching something on netflix and Go Go's, We Got the Beat is part of the soundtrack.. has to be a sign haha). I got into them on Third Eye. I have a good friend who has passed on a few years ago, who I met in the summer of 91 after my senior year and introduced me to Redd Kross. I have to say that it's been the soundtrack of my life. I recall seeing them on the Phaseshifter tour at a Red Tower Records parking lot in Orland Park , IL. What a jam that was! And I've seen them anytime they've come back. I believe it was the Researching the Blues record they played in Chicago with The Melvins and got to meet and take photos with Steve. I also have photos with both of them from the Phaseshifter tour when they played Metro. I loved this video and seeing them in photos from when they were younger. I'm glad they're still making amazing music and I also have to thank them for re-releasing Phaseshifter and Show World on vinyl a few years ago!! I've been wanting those on vinyl FOREVER!!! Can't wait till the Chicago show in July!

Yesterday i spent the entire day cleaning , tearing down , ordering parts - beginning the process of "restoring" a BC RCH platinum warlock bass - in white . i have been in the possession of this bass for maybe 15 years this bass has been sitting in the corner . i used it once in a prop photo , where i put on a cardinal suit . anyways i wake up today at 630 pm , i see the high school fun fair show is in my feed so i click it and i am absolutely blown away at how great these guys are . wtf ? can not wait to see the movie .the thing with the bass is weird tho - steve is playing basically the same guitar in many of these clips .maybe i have to do something significant with that and its a sign i wont really succeed in the traditional sense of that idea but if i could make music that sounds half as good as what i hearing now it would be a legitimate miracle .
