Apologies for the near 2 month wait for part 2. Autumn and Winter have picked up, and my sets are kinda covered in water and mud, hard and risky to film in. The footage I have is great, but rather short for a part 2. If the weather doesnt clear up soon I'll just upload what I have. Until then, lets pray for some sunny days.

This has gotta be one of your better movies. The story is interesting and realistic, and the dialogoue sounds like something from a real movie, and it still keeps the nostalgia of what you used to do. Very well done! Love it so far. Can't wait for more :)

You know something? I've never seen a LEGO film with such cinematic proportions and excellent voice work and writing. The direction was really good, the characters felt real and the build up to the raptor kept me on the edge of my seat. 10/10, can't wait for Part 2...

You should continue this series. It's the best LEGO video I've seen that is not stop-motion.

Cheers for the kind words! I'd love to continue it at some point soon. But in the end I might have to upload it to another site. KZbin just wont cut it with copyrighted music.

AHOY MATES! An update of sorts. I have about half of the episode done and dusted on my computer, looking spiffy and majestic. Despite having left this for little over a year, I am still interested in getting it done. Would be a nice project to finish before I avert my eyes to bigger things.

It's been over 2 years since you originally released this brickfilm. It's sad to see that the audio has been muted on this one. I'm glad that I saved it before then. I've still never seen part 2, and, would love to if given the opportunity...

I would just like to start by saying that this is one of the best brickfilms I've seen in the past 3 years! Your cinematography is not unlike that of Nathan Wells, if not beyond... And your pacing is superb. The dialogue isn't too long, and everything runs so smoothly - just as Hollywood blockbusters do. It has an excellent story, and a pretty good choice of music. (Though, the Jurassic Park theme is so familiar, it did taint the opening a little for me.) Overall, I'd give this film 5 out of 5 stars; It's such a great brickfilm, even without stop-motion for a majority of the shots. I'd really recommend posting this on BricksinMotion . com, as, I'm sure other brickfilmers would love to watch this film, and rate it as well! :) I can't wait for part 2. :P
@reddalek55510 жыл бұрын
Honestly a massive thank you for the kind words there, much appreciated! So fat people have liked the cinematography and camera work, so I'm very happy I could bring some form of quality to the film. I havent made a video like this in a good 5 years or so, I wasn't sure what the reaction might be. Comparing me to Nathan Wells, words too kind for me ;) I also feel the Jurassic Park theme is too familiar for the opening, I'll see that it's fixed in a later edit. Always wanted to post something on BricksInMotion, if I can muster the courage I will upload this first part there when I have completed part 2. Cheers dude! Love to hear such awesome and supportive feedback from people! Peace!

Why not reupload on vimeo or google video? I'd STILL really love to see part 2. Too bad I've had to wait 4 years so far... And this isn't even the only Johnny Thunder Dino Island brickfilm I haven't given my hopes up for yet! The other was promised a release in 2011 and still hasn't come out. If possible, I'd love to see your film in any way, shape, or form. I downloaded part 1 before the audio was removed, and would love to also have part 2 kept on my hard drive at the very least as part of the bricksinmotion.com brickfilm archive...

@@reddalek555 KZbin updated its copyright ID system. Now, copyright holders have to specify the specific timestamps between which their content plays - and now the ad revenue is more evenly split. This has allowed a surprising lot of videos to go back up with no issue at all. Hey, if the original parties aren't loosing a buck, and viewers get more accessible content, I say that's a win-win. Now if only uploaders could get a piece of that pie too...? Glad to see The Forgotten Valley pt 1 up again and with sound. This film has given me so much entertainment over the years... And once it was down, I had to share the experience in person through my downloaded copy. Now I can just send 'em over a link! Love this film! :D

reddalek555 It's fine, I just thought it was odd. And by the way, who voiced Johnny? Was it you or someone else? Because I'm making a Johnny Thunder film as well and I need an actor. It would be a while before the script came out though.
@reddalek55510 жыл бұрын
I understand, sometimes recognisable soundtracks throw off a home video :P I'll probably replace it at some point, it feels a bit out of place to myself as well. Just wanted to give a nod to similar films like Indiana Jones and Jurassic Park that had an influence on me making the video. I do the voice of all the characters including Johnny.
@AlrightProductions10 жыл бұрын
reddalek555 You could try the original 2003 Orient Expedition Theme. And could you voice Johnny? Like I said, it will be a while before the script is finished, so you should have time to finish Part 2 before the entire script is done. :) If you PM me on KZbin, I'll give you my email and we can discuss it further. :)
@reddalek55510 жыл бұрын
I'll see about using the Orient Expedition theme in the future. Really I should have finished part 2 a long time ago. Just gets hard when you have other obligations that take up your time, plus weather down here hasn't been very cooperative. Soon though, I'd like to get this one finished. Sure, I'm itnerested. I'll send you a pm when I get a moment :)
