I rarely see a Rolex I would wear, and rarely see an Omega that I would not wear. This is a beautiful restoration. The owner will be able to pass it down to his/her grandchild.

New subscriber here, and all I can say is WOW! Knowledge, patience, and attention to detail is amazing! I have loved Watches since I was 21. I am now 74 and have a 1958 Rolex that was my grandfather’s, it was completely serviced by Rolex years ago. Now that we have KZbin I really get an idea of just what is involved. Great video!

My sister in laws Aunt worked for Omega in Manhattan ..since my sis in law was her favorite and Essie has since passed. My sis in law has over 20 vintage Watches. I've seen them. They are beautiful

That was a worthwhile restoration and nice to see you were able to get hold of original replacement parts instead of reproduction parts. I am always curious about how much work goes into making these videos and tried to count the different camera angles and shots but then I realised it would be impossible due to the sheer number of editing cuts ! I'm pretty sure you must spend a lot more time putting the video together than it takes to restore the watches you work on, that is a lot of painstaking work ! Well worth the effort though !

I inherited a very similar Seamaster from my grandfather, same design but with gold dial and case. That watch started the tradition to gift a Seamaster when we turn 18 in my family. Thanks for sharing this beautiful restoration and bringing back some good memories. ❤

Great restoration! I got a vintage Helvetia from my father which would be perfect as a restoration video for you. Helvetia is an interesting brand because it is founded by Louis Brandt & frere which is the founder of Omega. There even are much similarities in the movement of your watch and that from my vintage Helvetia.
