I love no-tie aprons! I have a canvas crisscross apron from Williams-Sonoma, and I modified an apron from World Market to make it no tie. So much easier and more comfortable than tie-on styles, at least for me! 😍 Off topic, for sure, but I would like to ask if you’d consider sharing your thoughts at some point on your double oven range after a year’s use? Do you prefer it over a single oven? Why did you choose it instead of a double wall oven? Really curious about capacity - how it handles large Dutch ovens, roasts, turkeys, etc. I’ve been researching the pros and cons of the GE double oven, LG model, and the Cafe option; nobody in my circle has one, so it’s hard to get ‘real’ feedback other than from sales people. 🙃

So pretty. I love how B's little kitchen station is right there for her to play with but it blends right in and looks great. (Tip: I've learned that avocado oil, olive oil, all the good oils should be stored in dark glass and in a dark cupboard to slow down the oxidation - better for your health. And of course throw the bad seed oils away: Canola, sunflower, corn oil, "vegetable" oil, etc. (there are 8). Happy New Year!

Very cozy & I like to add candles to my decor too, just to warm the spaces back up after Christmas. I also find old, rustic cabins & metal houses, churches & add fairy lights inside them, hiding the battery pack behind faux plants & crocks. It helps to transition by having pretty lights like this during the day & night when things can feel so plain & void post Christmas sparkle & glitter 🪴🧺📖🕯️

I went to town after Christmas, looking for shelf decor. I could not find anything at Hobby lobby, or TJ Maxx, and I found a couple things at HomeGoods, but then promptly dropped them in a parking lot and broke one of them. The stores are empty right now and what they do have is mostly Valentine themed . It’s amazing to me that they didn’t plan this out better. a lot of people have Christmas money and or gift cards, and there’s just not a whole lot.

Everyone seems to decorate with the same stuff and colors. And it cracks me up how you all try to hide plug outlets. they are part of any kitchen or room. I think you did to many browns and beige I guess it works but I like a bit more color with it being so blah outside these next few months
