Bar none the most unique, most versatile pad on the market.
Mouse: WLMouse BeastX
Skates: Xraypad Jade Dots
Grip style: Fingertip
One point I wasn't able to address in the video: the dynamic/static friction will vary drastically depending on how you hold the mouse and the type of skates you use. If you grip your mouse in a way that applies a lot of downward force, you will experience much more friction than I do. The same applies if the skates on your mouse are big (for example, using full size skates on a Lamzu Atlantis).
Essentially, the more force you apply into the pad and the larger the point of contact between the mouse and mousepad is, the more friction you will experience. I use speed-oriented dot skates on my WLMouse BeastX and apply very little force to my mouse. As such, I experience very little friction.
Freefall didn't pay me for this review, or send me the pad for free, or offer me a discount. I don't have a referral link. There's no bias or ulterior motive here. I just really, really like this pad. At the time of uploading this video, I've owned this mousepad for 3 months, and I have around 30 mousepads overall. This is still my main pad. There is just nothing else like it.

Great, you earned a new sub. Just ordered this pad. Will look forward to trying it out since both you and haus seems to really like it. Also I love the otsu fabric.

Thank you! Like I said, give it a few days. The initial experience of "this is really rough" vanishes very quickly; within the first day. It'll turn into that smooth-but-textured surface I talk about in no time.

Thanks. For reviews, I'm working on one for the Kurosun Ninja, and after that I'm doing a "mousepad roundup" style video that will be less of a review and more of a rant lol. Lots more in the works that will still focus on mice and mousepads, but they won't be reviews. Something different. Don't want to spoil exactly what just yet, but I think peripheral enthusiasts will find it interesting. tldr; yes, more coming.

Nice review I recently bought this mousepad too, moved from a Vaxee PA Black -> Skypad 3.0 -> Freefall SV V2, and I will say I really like it I feel like it combines the best things about a control and a fast pad with the stopping power and low initial friction. Only downside for me is the base ain’t too sticky on the Ikea desk but that’s just me nitpicking it doesn’t bother me I just notice it moved sometimes.

That's fair. It's sticky on my desk, but if I try out a different mousepad and put the SVBC+ back on after a few days, I have to clean the desk and the base of the mousepad to ensure there isn't any dust. Otherwise I run into the same issue. It's a bit of a pain in the ass, but like you said, a minor nitpick. I think most people will just put it on their desk and not touch it.

Good stuff, especially for a first video! Something i'd recommend for starter is working on your thumbnail and pfp. Ngl, i almost passed the video because i thought it'd be one of these generic YT promotion bots with AI voice. Keep it up, can't wait to see more :)

Lol if you google "adobe express youtube thumbnail" you can find the template I used. This was uploaded in December, but it was recorded in November. There is a lot about this video that didn't turn out the way I wanted it to but I didn't have time to make the v2 version that I wanted and I didn't want to keep waiting to make "the perfect video", I just needed to release something. So it's a little scuffed. Appreciate the kind words regardless, better things to come soon. :)
