The higher you get, the less of an issue it is, though. Good tanks learn that they don't necessarily have to be the ones setting up pull and good dps/healers learn when to pull and how to pull in a smart way. But at low level between the bad play and the ego trips, it's a very touchy subject. xD

Senen try getting aggro on a pack, a dps is pulling, while the healer is pumping out heals and getting all the aggro. No don’t pull shit, unless you have md/tricks or its agreed on before hand

I don't know what tanks you're playing with where they like dps pulling for them (without md/tricks). Aggro can absolutely be a problem for a lot of tank specs at the start of a pull, especially when playing with high burst melee classes (fury for example).

Maybe feel same way as Senen. At higher groups players tend to cooperate a little more so less chance a dps shows off.

@@uwotmate6014 I don't know what version of the game you play, but on retail getting aggro is not that hard. Especially as, again, at higher levels people tend to use their kit correctly to mitigate that issue. Yes there's the occasional melee bursting too much on pull, but that doesn't really affect my point, a melee can not pull threat on a patrol that my healer went to pull for me.

@ 3:30 this is very true, i mainly play tanks and i really hate it if people start pulling stuff, often not looking at Cd's, Mana or Teammates in the process, ... Tank is a Role thats under represented so if u make his life easier he will have more fun and u will have shorter "Queue" times. Just ask him before the dungeon whether its ok if u plan on rushing things or a quick " sorry " can go a long way ! i know it can feel slow as DD but as Tank you have to look at so many things and manage them accordingly, please respect that and his Role you invited him for.

I had some warrior interrupt me while I was farming arcane harmony stacks on my mage alt while clearly yielding during the duel, so the next time I went down with them with the boss at 5% HP I couldn't help but kite them until the boss died xD Loving this series! Something of note (provided your group doesn't suck ass too hard) is you probably should save a Shaman kick on 1st boss of ToP for when Paceran blinks away, and let tank and DPS handle Searing Death kicks. It's up every time, it's ranged, and the poor guy will obediently run back to melee to get cleaved over those 2 seconds.

Leaving mid-dungeon without everyone agreeing to stop the run is really unheard of in my region. Way smaller population than the US so they have a kind of bulletin board where people post dungeon leavers and they don't get group invites again.

I thought I was crazy thinking I was the only one who experienced this. Fae transfusion as resto will sometimes randomly cancel on the first tick. I have no clue what causes this but when I was healing my group's keys it would happen maybe once per dungeon. /shrug

I like this video series and kinda get what you trying to accomplish and say with this videos. I enjoy my time but its also bittersweet for me. Specially if you dont play a desired class. Started with BFA and did continued with SL. Standing 2-3h (no joke) to get into grp or building one with own key. Its always the same reasoning. ilvl or raider io - you cant get the one without the other and vise versa. Even if you painfully climb that "community ladder" well i done +12 every dungeon. Lets do now +13/14 - but NOPE still waiting/searching for HOURS. Coz as you said in the beginning "Waiting for someone better" - That is no offense to you ofc. But reminded of my experience. Play FotM or a desired class or dont play at all...

Yes and so, every tank can keep themselves up, but there a lot of reasons you may need to heal them (1) They messed up (2) The incoming damage is too much to be able to keep themselves up (3) They sacrificed some tools to heal themselves for damage (final stand instead of righteous fury) No tank can keep themselves up without a healer forever on every pull, some pulls do thicc tank dam, particularly when kicks are missed.

Case-to-case basis, but generally do not expect anyone but Deathknights *consistently* healing themselves up. The main thing tank is working towards is smoothing out damage, they'll still need healing afterwards. The question would be if their own capabilities and whatever passive healing you provide are enough, or you need to wind up a Surge/Serenity/etc to help out.

depends on ur build, i remember in Legion the playstyle of Prot Pala involved healing ur teammates mostly, because ur heal does more the lower hp they are at, this makes it more efficient if the healer heals the Paladin and he in return tops off the others in a single global. in bfa i played Guardian and i used my entire toolkit and enemy knowledge to go out of bear form and cast wild growth or hots inbetween.

That said, it reminded me of one pompous Druid, so very much like the former in your statement, but with better gear saying I shouldn't shittalk him on my alt, so very much like the latter, because "his IO is higher". Would not be funny, if said druid didn't know he can Soothe 1st boss in ToP instead of it running around after the poor SPriest we had. So, I'd still take decent-parsing raiders, at least you can be sure they'll get numbers, if not utility.
