love this. simon says is one of the representing songs for nct. antis/haters would call their music "noise" or "noise music" as an insult to their title tracks or their "neo" sound, but the lyric in simon says, they say "nct noise, you can't break me." so they're basically owning the noise music title and it's pretty much their genre and pretty much all the 4th gen sound is inspired by nct 127. my favorite part of nct 127 is they turn insults to songs. for example, they have a song called chain and it's filmed at a construction site and has tool sounds in the background because antis/haters would also call their music. "construction music" and then antis would call their music "pots and pans music" and you wanna know what they did? they made a song called kitchen beat and it literally sounds like pots and pans in the background at some point lol. with that being said, i suggest you listen to kitchen beat and chain, i like them. ps. did you notice the horse neighs in the background?

they didn’t say anything that downplayed either group or compare either group so I don’t see the problem, they used bts as an example with being able to explore many genres in which nct ALSO does. It’s a compliment for both groups.
