TXT members do have a their own songwriting/producing credits or input into the songs. For The Chaos Chapter: Freeze, all the boys have song writing/producing credits eg Yeonjun was credited in Frost (alongside Ashnikko, Jacob Manson etc). Yeonjun was also credited as the producer and songwriter of the rap segment of Enhypen's Blockbuster. From the same album, I would recommend Dear Sputnik, of which Hueningkai was listed as co-songwriter/co-producer. RM has songwriting credits to Ox1=Lovesong when he was roped in by Bang Si Hyuk to help out, after the latter had problems with the songwriting process. Another song that I think would be interesting to watch as the song goes really well with the MV is TXT's Drama. As always, thank you for reacting to TXT :)

"Maze in the Mirror" was written by TXT members pre-debut, the song was included in their EP The Dream Chapter: Eternity. Their most recent album The Chaos Chapter: Freeze includes both producer/songwriting credits by the members. The members say they always write songs, its their goal to have their songs on their albums - they're very proud of the Chaos album and repackage, it has their "voice" in it. Working hard at their young age...

5:17 RM was the main songwriter of TXT's '0X1=Lovesong' and even chose the song's title out of other options. You can find his name in the album credits, he spoke about it on one of his vlives and TXT also openly thanked him for his work on the song (you can find pictures and clips of all this on Twitter and articles about it on Google). And other commenters have gone into more detail on this, but yes, TXT keep writing and producing more and more in each album (e.g. HueningKai produced 'Dear Sputnik' and Beomgyu produced 'Thursday's Child'). From what I've seen, HYBE appears to encourage all of its groups to nurture their music creation skills rather than just remaining performers alone.

TXT do involve themselves with their music. Even during pre-debut, Beomgyu writes songs. Their credits on their songs keep increasing for every era! As mentioned by Yoongi, the process of creating music in Big Hit is like a "year-round song camp" where members submit their song ideas to Bang and input is provided on an ongoing basis. More stories from TXT members themselves, where they talk about how they submit their ideas and songs. They have to compete with several writers, producers and etc., so for them to be picked and all credited in this album really shows how they've grown as artists.! I'm looking forward to see what their next comeback has in store for us.

The choreo for the chorus of this song was done by Nick Joseph, who just spent six months in South Korea working closely with TXT, did the choreo for an Enhypen song or two (Drunk Dazed, for sure), and also did the BTS 3 J’s Butter/Megan Thee Feature choreo. Nick said the rest of the choreo for this was done by Big Hit staff. He was VERY complimentary of TXT and their talents (as well as of the 3 J’s and Enhypen).

Also txt are great songwriters and producers, since predebut they had some songs at their names but the thing in bighit is that they need to surpase writers and producers ideas of the company to get their songs on the albums! and they actually did, for example: maze in the mirror is from beomgyu (3rd album), rollercoaster from hueningkai (2nd album), frost from yeonjun (5th album) and more... more examples :D the choreography is very interactive between the members and the acting just... wow facial expressions!!

I'm a moa (txt's fan). I would like to say that I hate it when peoples are saying txt is using bts for their popularity or stuffs like that. txt is a unique group and have their own identity. so let's just appreciate them and not bringing bts for their achievements. if txt have no talent and just using bts's popularity, I'm sure they will not get to this point, but these guys are talented in their own way. and I need to mention this, yes, txt do participate in producing and writing songs. I believe RM helped with lyrics of TXT’s Lover Loser. Bang PD asked RM to take a look because they were having trouble adapting the English lyrics in the demo to korean

Nope, it was 0x1=LoveSong (I Know I Love You). RM contributed with some of the lyrics and helped picking out the title of the song but that's it (Source: JaeJae's interview with TXT/BangPD). In general, I'm glad overall that BigHit/Hybe doesn't push this "little brother" narrative with BTS and TXT. If anything, Enhypen and TXT are closer than TXT and BTS and it makes sense, especially because Heeseung used to train with TXT before they debuted.

@@mykatharsis i dont really see anything wrong with the whole little brother thing honestly. people make a big deal out of it saying that BTS brings TXT down or overshadows them too much. i dont really agree, i honestly think its the fans themselves who turn the whole TXT BTS friendship into that. i mean even jimin refers to TXT as "the babies", so im actually sad that TXT and BTS arent being seen together a whole lot anymore like they used to when TXT first debuted, but TXT still keeps in touch with them and keeps updated on them, so i guess thats good. im really glad that HYBE is promoting TXT and EN- together! HYBE brother groups :D

@@alexandriaking8544 I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with them getting along and interacting, obviously. What I mean is that I'm just glad that the sunbae/hoobae relationship isn't pushed as a marketing ploy by Hybe. I was afraid that would happen when I saw the finale of I-Land which was so awkward because no offense but you could tell BTS did not want to be there. In general I don't think any groups should be "promoted" together if you will, they're separate groups for a reason. It would be cool though if in the future Hybe did something like what SM do with SMTown and have a company concert.
