choreography-wise, i feel like Hit and Home;run can really show Seventeen's skills and creativity, those two choreographies are also two of their hardest and most tiring choreo from them, according to seventeen themselves

Oh also on of their most tiring Japanese songs can maybe be Call Call Call, the song is so good and the choreo is insane, the MV doesn’t have copyright (Also the rest of their songs and I’ve seen some reactors saying Japanese songs sometimes get blocked) like most songs from idols so is safe to react

The gentleman in the red hat on the left talked about their formations. Seventeen is a group that puts a lot of thought into their choreography formations. They think about fans in stadiums who see the performance from higher up and farther away and how they can make the performance more dynamic for them. For instance, in their song, Thanks, which is a song written for Carats, in one portion, one of their formations spells out the letters T H X. You can’t see it from the front but if you are high above them, you can. A lot of Kpop reactors who are relatively new to Kpop also don’t fully appreciate that they dance AND sing at the same time in concerts, promotions, etc. Old time boy bands in the US would either bop in place at the microphone or do limited dance moves or, at a break in the music, throw out more complex moves for a couple of bars. These guys can full out sing while running, flipping, and navigating their way around 12 other people while doing very complex moves. It’s also art how their choreo is made to transition constantly to get each person singing to the front. With 13 members, that’s a feat in and of itself. It’s easy for Kpop newbies that see MVs which are directed to show the members visuals or see dance practices which are meant to let fans see their group choreo dynamic, and not fully grasp that these guys perform these songs live, one after another, for hours, during concerts. They are artists AND freaking athletes. I just wanted to throw this out there, since it seems like some on your panel are new to Kpop.

Yeah there’s 13 of them which makes even harder to pull off a synchronized dance and you can always see how many formations or levels they do during the choreo, they work the number of members on their favor

I think with Seventeen(especially their title tracks) they don't just dance, they do choreography to express the theme or lyrics if the song,so you can appreciate more if you know the lyrics, and they have different choreography for each chorus though they can just use one because all choruses are the same Like at the beginning of the second verse they incorporated streetlights to show the feeling of loneliness when you walk through the road you used to walk together alone(under the streetlights)

To be honest. This choreo is sooo sick. Like it's one of the best out there. All the creativity. It's so unique. I love this choreo so much. They know when to go subtle and when to go hard. It's so delicate yet strong at the same time. One of their best choreos.

I love the honest reviews. I agree this song could be mellow for some people since the overall vibe of it is revolved around "Don't Wanna Cry." But I'm glad that you're interested in watching more Seventeen videos!! They have more to offer. Honestly, this is just a small part of what they can do. BTW gentlemen, there is a meaning behind the name Seventeen. Prior to debut there were 17 members, including a current solo artist named Samuel. However, 4 of them decided to do something different so they left. So the name Seventeen means this: there are 13 members + 3 units + 1 group = Seventeen. Also the 3 units are Hip Hop, Vocal, and Preformance. And everyone is the group fits in one, possibly 2. You may want to watch a guide. Oh and it Carets as in "that is a 3 caret diamond." They have a song about shining diamonds. And they choose carets as the name of their fandom. The song you are thinking it sounds like is not Zedd's "In the Middle." Its actually the Chainsmokers song "Closer" ft. Halsey that you hear. The Chainsmokers worked with Sevemteen on the song. There are many other videos you could check out. But no matter what video you watch, it is better if u watch the dance practice to see all of the choreo. I'll give you three songs to start you off..... 1. Very Nice 2. Crazy In Love (a b side so there is no video, but a great dance practice and live versions) 3. Heaven (no video for this one either, this was a special collab with label mates Nu'est W for an award show. It's some of the best choero Hoshi has ever done.)
@zucretient16943 жыл бұрын
Note: When it comes to KPOP they are all working hard to the point that they will have injuries.. So its totally rare to see even one member "slacking". Even if they feel totally sick they will give their best in performing so its actually hard to notice if any of the members are not feeling well. This is very common in Kpop industry because they practice a LOT.. Honestly they only rest or sleep 1-2 hours a day and sometimes they dont even get to sleep so when you see them back stage you'll see that they can easily dozed off even if the spot they are on is very uncomfortable. So its really amazing how they can totally sing and dance perfectly like they had a really good sleep and rest.. Plus despite them being tired they still manage to give a full smile to their fans..

You probably already have this information and abit more ut just in case you don’t .... *HERE’S SEVENTEEN INFO AND GUIDE LINKS* Seventeen a 13 male member Kpop Group that debuted May 26, 2015 under Pledis Entertainment. I’ve been a Carat since 2017; It’s quite a long and interesting story how they got the name Seventeen since 13Members + 3Units + 1Team = 17, here’s a short summary.The group consists of three subunits: Hip Hop, Performance, and Vocal; which has different styles & concepts of music. They’re self-produce, compose & write, and makes their choreography. Each unit has their responsibilities, for example; Performing unit charge of choreography(Dancing Formations), Vocalists in charge of composing the songs and Hip Hop in charge of writing the lyrics but Woozi who’s the vocal leader and shortest member. He’s actually the one who writes, produces and composes majority of their songs with the assists of other music producers & artists! *My biases are The8(Minghao), Hoshi, Woozi, Mingyu, Wonwoo, Junhui, D.K, Vernon and Dino but I love & support OT13.
