I think The Boyz and Treasure would be a better match as they have similar number of members which equals similar formations and makes it a little more fair. Ateez and The Boyz are wayyy different in music so Im not sure a battle between them is that beneficial. But The Boyz choreo was hittin. In my opinion The Stealer should have gone up against Fireworks from Ateez! That would be a true battle

There were plenty of times since the boyz are so huge that members weren't doing anything and it's harder to have those type a moments with ateez cause there is only 8 of them. Also with the boys it's easier to miss is someone wasn't going full out or cleanly cause I saw the blue being a bit lazy in the beginning but he picked it up later. I agree it also wasn't a great song match. That was an anthem from ateez which means you are going to dance that differently. Stealer choreo was killer but so was ateez in a different way.

Ive said this before, I dont think y'all should compare Ateez and THE BOYZ because they dont give off even a similar vibe at all, plus the number of members makes a whole difference in terms of placements within a dance choreo. The Boyz slayy..They really excel in synchronization, clean & smooth moves yet fancy, and classy. Plus, all performances in "Road to Kingdom" and "Kindom" are proofs that they are more than just a dance group; they are creative and has many great songs too. All of their performances are musical-like quality (who says they just focus on dance??). The Boyz has great vocalists & rappers too. Sangyeon's Leemujin Service clip recently surpassed 1million views just within 2 days, both fans and non-fans acknowledge his singing skill & technique. Other vocalist members are great too and even the rapper can sing well. The Boyz all-rounder. Praise your fave all you want, but don't belittle other groups and be toxic.

Honestly, when asked who's the best dancer in kpop, I'm pretty sure the name atz and tbz will always come out at the top, hence why they made this video comparing atz and tbz. It's just for entertainment purposes and nothing really serious, but the way some people kept complaining about the comparison is just making it hard for me to enjoy the vid. Chill, people... they were just giving their own opinions and chose the dance practice they preferred. The way some of you are writing your comments just sounds like you'll never be satisfied with their choices unless it's atz who's winning 😅 I mean, I get your points about the number of members and type of music, but that brings us back to my first point: atz and tbz are known for their amazing dancing skills in the kpop world, that's the main reason why this comparison is made in the first place. If you're known to have amazing dancing skills, I think it would've shined regardless of the place, song and number of members. Both the stealer and wonderland choreographies are two of my favorites, but I have to give this one to ateez. Wonderland's choreo never fails to impress me. I wish I could re-live the first time I saw it. Y'all talking about the speaker system, but ateez had just turned 1 year old on the exact day wonderland was dropped. They weren't doing numbers like they are now, and we all know damn well that kq spent all their money on their mv lol. Ateez has prioritized live singing since debut, while the boyz hasn't. They are more than just singers and dancers, they're performers. If they have to sacrifice a little fire choreo moments for fire vocals, so be it. I don't want it to seem like I'm hating on the boyz, they're actually in my top 10 for best 4th gen group dancers.

The difference in the video quality alone should hint that comparing these two is not really on equal footing. All this has shown is that y’all have a preference for clean choreo with stunts (I mean, absolutely fine they go HARD 💛), but agree with others that a group like TBZ should be compared to a similar 4th gen counterpart like Treasure. ATEEZ is harder as no one else in Kpop really does what they do (which is why opinions on them can be polarising), but a closer pairing in terms of numbers at least would be Stray Kids.

@@stopkook but Ateez has Hala Hala which is regarded by dancers as one of the hardest choreographies. Ateez sacrifices a bit on the Choreo because they prioritize the live performance. The original fireworks choreo had to be changed up so they could still sing live. That song and choreo are excellent even with simplified choreography.

I also think their choreo is more hip hop/crump inspired which is very difficult to do but different difficult (visually it may not look as difficult but dancers who dance that style know how hard it is) especially the ticks and textures. That’s why the footwork at the end of Wonderland is super hard, the ticks they do with their legs in unison isn’t easy at all.

The lull criticism bothered me too. Ateez sings live all the time-those lulls are necessary. They aren’t a dance crew dancing to the back track. Also there were lulls for some dancers in The Boyz choreo but there are so many of them a few can draw the attention while others catch their breath. Big group advantage. And the lulls still worked with the music.

The Boyz choreo here is very smooth, but it’s a smooth song. Ateez goes hard and their footwork is hard-they do the shakey leg kick together towards the end-that’s tough. But this is more anthem.

The production that went into filming both of the dance practices was very different. The Boyz had insane quality and, what seemed to have been highly rehearsed compared to ATEEZ. It’s worth noting that the ATEEZ dance practices don’t show their dancing skills to the best of their ability. Their preview performances, thought short, are higher quality and are highly rehearsed.

I feel like you didn’t appreciate Wonderland that much but maybe they aren’t your style of dancing or because you loved The Stealer a lot and that’s okay the choreo is good. For Ateez dance songs-Hala Hala Fireworks Thanxx Inception (you probably won’t like this based on your Wonderland reaction but it’s one of my favorite choreographies because it’s beautiful but it’s not perfect in sync choreography which you seem to prefer (it’s simply not choreographed that way but it’s great with the song) Horizon Answer (Seonghwa’s dance lines are amazing in this one). And for some great dancing there are the KQ Fellas (before they were Ateez) performance videos (no dance practice and they are dance covers not original Ateez songs).

this was so painfully biased it has to be a joke 🤡 they went into this with a clear winner in mind, which wouldnt matter if they didnt decide to film this and upload it after saying they would be fair. anyway the 2 groups and songs cant even be compared. tbz also obviously had a much higher production quality for their vid compared to atz. along with the huge diff in no of members and style of performance and song. tbz are a large group and have cleaner choreo this song + synchronisation here while atz has lesser members with each member choosing to focus on their indiv style of dance. and how do you even do a choreo battle without watching a single live performance. these are dance practice videos. which are just that. practice, not the real thing. at least the live stages would have a more even playing field for the production quality and show you how the dance would look like in an actual setting like damn.

Why do I feel like most people are not satisfied with the reactors answer on which dance they like better. I wonder if it’s bc they didn’t say Ateez’s. Don’t get me wrong I love both of these groups and they are crazy talented. Like The Boyz are finally getting recognized for their dancing and their choreography/synchronization and I just see people in the comment downgrading their talent. For example the Boyz are using moving still camera, the Boyz used stunts, the Boyz don’t sing live (actually they do sing live like couple of their Maverick stages and you can definitely hear their mic on and Sunwoo’s rap are live as well) etc. Don’t downgrade one groups talent to praise your favs bc that is unacceptable and it just shows that y’all r bias. I have no problem with them saying The Boyz dance was better. I think they simply failed to give Ateez any real credit and critiqued them for something that wasn’t fair. Wonderland is an amazing performance and they essentially said they had a lull because there were back up dancers standing against the wall while Ateez members did their dancing wolf pack around the rapper who was being featured. It came across as “Those Ateez members are being lazy” when anyone who has seen a performance video knows it isn’t that. Their performance of Wonderland in Kingdom killed it and nobody looked like they were laying back taking a break.

For those saying number of members should be a criteria of comparison should also remember that the more the number of members the harder it is for the synchronisation and the overall performance. So its either a hit or go. The Stealer just has some of the best choreos I've seen in Kpop and literally has everything you could want from a choreography. ATEEZ I think only for this dance practice lacked a bit of finesse, that's all. They're both great groups when it comes to dancing and The Boyz has advantage when it comes to experience. But Ateez has the element of shock which they often use so well. Its so hard being a multi-stan y'all

This one I would give to Ateez, but I love both! Four of my favorite dancers were in this battle… Juyeon, Q, Seonghwa, and San. I’d love to see those four in the same choreo. Maverick and Wonderland would be hard for me to choose from…

I like Wonderland as a song better than The Stealer, but The Boyz talkingabout dancing are way beyond ATEEZ and their choreos are always on another level. Maybe you can match Treasure and The Boyz since they have the same number of members.

The Boyz are not beyond Ateez in dancing .(Q is great tho). You can watch stages like Sicko Mode /Lick / One time coming and you will understand. The Boyz choreos are more in the traditional kpop style that puts accent on syncronization,while Ateez style is the total opposite. In lots of their choreos are sections that are reminiscent of freestyle groups and where they do different movements that interact with each others.(even here when they travel across while Mingi is rapping) Their choreos allow also moves changing ,even improvising and embraces their very different styles of dancing.Is a lot to explain because in this aspect they are quite unique in kpop. But, also I don't think their choreos cover all the grounds of their skills. This two groups are on the opposite spectrum when its comes to choreos.

@@iomk8373 I do still think tbz has better dancing quality. I've seen ateez performances and a bunch of dance practices, that's why I'm saying I think tbz has better choreo that show their dancing and still hold that they (as a whole) as a skill, dance better. you can still dance "no traditional dancing" and not be great and vice-versa, you can do "traditional kpop dancing " and suck at it or be mediocre.

ateez are definitely better individual dancers ,probably the best overall dance group individually in all of kpop tbf, tbz has more refined and practiced choreo but with all the members, there is a few good dancers but literally ateezs dance line is 5 members and even non-dance line member had a contemporary dance stage in MAMA lol, there is no weak dancer at all, ateez dances are made for performance and energy, the boyz is for theatrics with stuns and synchronized choreo, ateez dont have stuff like stunts since they sing live so much they have to edit choreo often to make it easier to sing live like fireworks which is still hard asf

Wow I've never seen the choreo for stealer. It's amazing! But the difference between the videos is a bit much isn't it. The Boyz has a much bigger practice room, better sound and a moving camera. Ateez practice video is just that, a pretty simple practice video. It definitely makes a difference while watching. That said I loved both choreos and stealer was much more elaborate. I probably would have chosen the stealer choreo too if the conditions were the same even though wonderland is why I fell in love with Ateez!

As a fan of both these groups , I find it really disrespectful that you would automatically judge and ridicule Ateez before they even started and through their entire dance practice . I think you should do a performance vs performance battle rather than choreo battle because that is where most groups shine. For Ateez I think their Win performance/ dance practice is top tier if you want to see what ATeez are about. They aren't the best "dance crew" but performance-wise they are one of the top.

The Boyz will always be #1 for dance imo. Ateez 100% for live vocals but dance? TBZ all the way. also I'm a bit confused because so many people were saying you should've done Wonderland in the last choreo battle because it had more energy but now people are saying Wonderland isn't a fair comparison
