Wow! Harley went too far. First of all, what's with that huge cooler, on the front? It's I've never seen any previous touring models need that. What changed? If that's absolutely necessary, the designers should've tried to make it fit into a custom spoiler instead of it looking more like that of a V-Rod. And in that same area, is there an option to switch the crash bars to the full ones? These don't give the option for vertical mounting of the crash bar turn signals. The futuristic look of the fairing is not in line with the Harley styling, and it covers part of the headlight. It also takes away the customizing options, for turn signals. The same goes with the rear; the taillights/turn signals look more like something that would be on a car. The license plate light, which has already been on some previous models is unstyled, very much how they are, on metric bikes. I don't like filler lights, in general, but is there even an option to replace these with after market ones that would go on previous models? That brings brings me to something that you mentioned, which is the saddlebags being widened. I don't necessarily see an issue with that, in itself; it's the widened rear end that's the issue. Harley needs to quit doing that. The trend should've never been followed. How does it make the bike handle better instead of worse? It also makes the rear fenders look awful. Even the Softail models, and some earlier discontinued models are that way. Pretty soon, with bags, some models might be as wide as a car. I bet it already makes it harder to get through smaller areas, compared to 2003 and earlier models. Harley needs to remedy this, by slimming the bikes back to a reasonable tire size. The adding of the creases and flat sections on the tank is taking away, rather than adding something. It makes it looks like a Victory bagger tank. A bigger screen is nice, but including the speedometer and tachometer is just asking for more to go wrong. They're also cutting into the map. And finally, why does it matter, about the engine size, at this point, or on previous models, going back some years? You can't use all of that power. It's basically a candy carrot being dangled in front of Harley customers.
