Glad to see even veteran artists (or at least artists who get paid to do pieces) still struggle. It makes us all feel human and it shows that improvement can happen. I remember doing that in my sketchbook once on these 2 characters and I hated it but after taken my time I was able to do a better piece. Art is hard, but it’s always so fun to do!

L was def too boxy in the first redraw…I figured you’d catch that though. But overall, he’s a very awkward character re: how he sits and behaves, so I feel like capturing his anatomy is difficult. But as you know…I tend to like the villains 😉 even though light totally sucks at the end

You're absolutely not alone in completely restarting a drawing. I've seen others and sometimes do so myself! The only reason it doesn't happen a lot is because of my lack of motivation to finish drawings lately 😅 But great art as always! Nothing better than seeing improvement over the years! :D
