I bought these the other day. I thought I could some of the charms in the bottles for a slime project. However, I decided to use sprinkles instead....these are good ideas for the little spell jars sitting on my desk. Thank you.

If you use water you need to use a bit of glycerin. Otherwise over time your water is going to get murky.

you could have used castrol oil or baby oil

@wakyjavagirl69 I use distilled water, but I wanted to use glycerine for the one with glitter. That's what they use in snow globes so the glitter moves pretty. I just used what I already had though

I do not understand? If u knew that the mica is hydrophobic then y would u submerge it in water ??? makes no sense... oils make more sense... other than that it was a nice video...

@drbeautyglam7092 I miss spoke. Most micas are hydrophilic. However, some can become hydrophobic depending on the ingredients added and the quality of the mica. This can also happen in oils and other liquid bases as well. It just depends on the mica, and it's always better to mix it in another container beforehand (so I've been told)
