The "nose part" of a parakeet/budgerigar is called a "cere", and it's actually a good indicator of the birds biological gender once fully matured! Budgies with a pink cere are female, blue is males, and if its purple or indiscriminate, then the bird is still growing.

The Archie comics had some of the weirdest sonic designs ever. But the sole fact that they made a f****** recolor of Sonic such a memorable villain/jackass (In both the worst and best ways possible) is enough for me to consider them worth existing. Scourge had no right being so entertaining, I even dare say well-written. (Especially in that scene where he tries to assassinate Chuck or that time he conquered the world twice.) (Also Charmy's backstory.)

I have to agree, Scourge was a fantastic sonic villain and amazing character! He's one of my favorite sonic characters tbh, it's a shame that we'll probably not see him in any games or comics anytime soon (here's hoping that he will appear again in the future!)

So...my thoughts on each of the redesigns: Betty the Butterfly: I like the idea of making her into a ballerina. Never would have thought of it myself. And she turned out well. Sharps the Parakeet: This one really resonated with me on a personal level, because the parakeet you chose as a reference was in the EXACT same colors as a parakeet I used to have. So yeah, I really liked that one. Sally Moon & Chibi Rose: The redesigns look a lot more like the perfect blend of Sonic and Sailor Moon. They look like they could fit in either universe. So as for other characters I would like to see get a redesign, I elect the entire group of the Forty Fathoms Freedom Fighters to make them look more Mobian (side note, they actually did do an official redesign for an aquatic creature named Akhult when they rebooted the series).

The butterfly was so weird I’m interested to see what you’ll do with it edit: That interest paid off because it looks stunning, I had a feeling you would make her anthro (it's strange that she wasn't to begin with, even if Charmy hadn't been introduced yet) and while the ballerina aspect was a surprise, it's definitely a good one :)

Gets even weirder in Fleetway's run. Archie wasn't even aware that Japan had to see mobian insects pretty early, since Charmy debuted in the manga first, much like Amy Rose. In fact, you are right on the nose now that you mention Classic cartoon characters and the animaniacs. His design was inspired by them!

I don't know, I think Scourge is mostly good as is and the only improvement I see is giving him some ripped jeans and maybe a chain or some other cute accessories. Also I'd say Scourge lies more on the punk/rock spectrum rather than emo.

It's lovely to see another redesigning video from you, it's been a while since the last one. Weird Archie characters this time, this is certainly interesting. I'm not too familar with the comics but I have seen some of the characters from that era before the reboot and yeah they're quite weird, which makes it exciting seeing your interperations on it and oh boy, they're amazing! Betty Butterfly, I love how you made her into a ballerina. She looks so pretty. Sharps the Parakeet, I like you have turned him into an actual parakeet which is very smart and the outfit design being based on a 2000s punk rock look is fitting to him too. Sally Moon and Chibi Rose are the weirdest of the bunch to me personally, but I adore the redesigns you have done for them! It looks so much better than the original in my opinion and I love how you've gave Sally an acorn motif and Amy a heart motif. Overall, another great bunch of redesigns. Personal favourite would have to be the Sally Moon and Chibi Rose's redesigns with Betty Butterfly being a close second. That doesn't mean Sharp's redesign is bad however, I still like his design you've done for him. He looks really cool. Great work, Courtney!

If I were to make suggestions for your next redesign video, how about some of the characters from Sonic Underground? That show was notorious for having supporting characters that didn't jive with the proper Sonic style, ESPECIALLY Sleet and Dingo.

I like the little Jigglypuff hair swirl you gave the butterfly. A good reference to the curled proboscis of real butterflies. That Parakeet looks like he's got Emo nail polish. 😆 The sailors are blended really well. (Also Sonic's reaction to them in the comic. 👍👌)

Honestly it makes sense for there to be a sailor moon sonic zone. There *are* 7 magic rainbow colored crystals that make one big super powered crystal in sailor moon just like the chaos and master Emerald

This was really fun! As for ideas for future episodes, I'd love to see you redesign Saffron the Bee. Practically every other time she appeared she’d have a completely different design, so there's a big variety of potential inspirations to pull from. Another one that might be interesting is a redesign of Eggman's older brother… I think his name was Colin Kintobor? His design was always weird because he looked nothing like his brother, or his son, so it'd be interesting to see a redesign that made him fit better.

If I were to pick a few specific Archie Sonic characters, I would love to see redesigns of: Al & Cal (specifically their human versions from the early comics) Ixis Naugus (maybe he could be more Mobian than human?) Eddy the Yeti That's all I can think of. There's lots of zany and weird characters in the comics, but I would love to see what you could do with these characters. ^^

I dunno much about the Archie Sonicverse, but considering what you did here for Sally Moon/Chibi Rose (and Sailor Rookie before them), a team of Sonic Sailor Guardians sounds like a fun idea. Sally and Classic Amy have the Moon slots, Rookie's costume is similar enough in colors to Venus, why not some other girls and boys to join the team? :P Or, there's always Dr. Warpnik from Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. Eh? Eh? XD

These redesigns I have to say have so much potential and they look more like they fit in the Sonic world. Idk if you plan to do this at some point in the near future, but do you plan on redesigning other characters from Sonic shows like SatAM and Sonic Underground?
