For big siege, a player from another server in SVS who's been playing for like 15 years before Evony was "Evony", gave me the following troop sizes (I use 100 troop layers): T14 - 400k T13 - Everything you have left T12 - 500k T11 - 100k

Thank you as always for the help. I am Siege heavy, and like many I have lot of siege generals to work with. I like Mikhail because I have enough ranged as well, and he can lead both. Pallas is still my first choice, and she has her first red star now. Harder to get copies of Mihai though as well as Pallas. So my question is totally different:... what do you know about this new Frigg'n General Frigg? I had a lot of general tokens and such to trade in and open. I did it 9 times, and during her event... I got her 7 out of 9 times. So now I guess I must develop her. I hope you will release something on her when you can,. Thanks Akka

My siege march is my smallest march, and is just over 2.6M at k39. My ranged is nearly 2.9M without any march size buffs. K42 has a much bigger march size lol.

What is a siege attack good for? I tried doing a straight siege attack in BOG and i killed all of their siege and archers but their ground killed all of my siege. That i don't understand. But i didn't layer properly either. I had all siege layers and no layers of anything else. I basically just used a setup for general farming a sub. Will siege kill ground if i had layered properly? Thanks 😊🙏 Siege is basically used for killing the enemy's siege. For keeps that are starting to get too big to solo (3B and above), siege causes significant damage when defending, so it is better to take out or reduce the defender's siege first before proceeding to attack the rest of the troops. Also, you shouldn't do siege solos, even with properly layering, unless you have a significant advantage in buffs. Siege attacks are mostly done in rallies 👌

When using siege to attack, the main thing is that siege will kill siege. However, if the defender has little siege remaining, then the attacking siege will also kill archers. When it comes to defending with siege, siege is susceptible to ground and mounted attacks. However, if the defending keep still has significant troops, it is very likely that those ground and cavs won't even reach the siege. That is why it is necessary to first weaken the defender's troops. This is not so important for smaller keeps, but it becomes a lot more important when taking down bigger keeps. How you deal with the siege they have becomes a significant factor 👌

Sending siege against ground or cav is just throwing it away…..it kills siege, but once it gets through siege, it will go after archers. This is big siege though. Siege is your first line of defense. It reacts differently by tier though. T14 is defense! When attacking, you use 15% of t14, 10% of 12 and 11, and use mostly 13 to attack. Troops die from the top so 14 is there to provide a protective layer to your 13s. A small siege march is 1k layers, maybe 5-10% t12, everything else is t11

Honestly, if you don't have T14s, then I don't think you are quite ready for siege attacks just yet 😇 With that being said, if you still wanted to do it, just follow the same procedure as shown in the video for big siege and small siege, and just omit the part for T14s 👌 Also be sure to fill up your march as best you can.

There’s also a lot of frustration as well, so prepare yourself for that 😇 If you are K33, I think your biggest priority if you want to do PvP is to set up your attacking march for ranged/archers and also start crafting achaemenidae gear in your forge for defense and sub generals 👌

Yes, that's what I decided to go with.👍 As I mentioned in the video, you are free to choose any number you want - 500, 1,000, 10,000, whatever you like. Just make sure that, as shown in Step 1, you fill out all your layers with that number 👌

i have to admit I am a bit confused. i thought big siege is supposed to hit first to clear the defenders siege units. Aka, you say thats the job for tier 11 siege? Can you elaborate a bit? T11 seige are low cost and high impact. They will help remove all the t12 and lower seige levels. This way when you attack with a big seige rally, you have more of an impact to wipe out the enemies large seige without the hindrence of the lower layers.. Also once the enemy seige is killed, seige will then target high range troops. Once you wipe both these layers out, the enemy is pretty much defenceless. Even a T1 wall then becomes point heaven.

@@ruckus1314 Its an interesting point on mixed rallies. It is a good strategy if you are attacking a player that does not have significant high seige. In which case there is no requirement to oversend the number of troops as this will result in larger power loss with nothing more in return. Ie during the last Chalons, i received a 3b t13 seige rally whereby i only had about 10m t12 and t13 seige left. This resulted in only a 500m powerloss for me vs their 3b. Remember Seige is a sacrifice attack so with that in mind it is all about the potency of your attack to maximise your result. ie Risk vs Return Typically if you rally a large player, sending the relevant troop improves the impact of your attack as they will normally have significant high levels of the relevant seige you will target. Therefore though mixed will still work, it will not be as affective as they will weaken the offensive lines. The other point to mention is the buffs. Both t11 and t13 seige work best with percentage refines, UNLESS the defending player is able to fully debuff you, in which case t11 work better with flat refines. This is why we seperate the two. Sending mixed rallies with a general with flats will weaken the t13s and on the opposite side, if we send t11s with percentages against a player that can fully debuff our attack, it will weaken the t11. Its all about choosing which variation works most effective for what you want to do. Finally, i will also mention. Though Aka has said to increase troop layers on seige, remember it is all about risk vs return. There is a reason most players when sending t13s, ONLY send t13s with 1k layers. It is the cheapest seige to send to wipe high seige. Sending additional higher layers, though will compliment the t13s, will only increase the risk on powerloss. Also to mention, t14s are garbage unless they are complimented by t15s and vice versa. Food for thought.

In the big siege set up showed in the video, if you followed it to the end, T13 IS the biggest tier, not T14 👌 I used several references when making this video, including references from several players and my own reports. That’s why I suggested a majority of 40%. You might think that it should be more like 50-60%, and that’s perfectly fine, but that is more about March optimization. That doesn’t mean that the set up in the video is not correct. It’s what I use and it works. Also, 2:02 - 2:28, I made that statement clearly in the video. Can’t say I didn’t say it 😉😇

Siege is still very weak when going against any defense from what I've seen. Its a last resort if you are out of regular troops. Its great against weak player and against sub cities.
