This is one of my favorite movies of all time now. Possibly top one or two. Been a long time since I had a strong physical reaction or emotion to a movie. I sobbed for about an hour after it was over. The movie made me think about all of the families, and how they must be feeling, and I can't imagine what it must be like for them. All of them. The music, was just unbelievable. I listen to the soundtrack daily right now, and I still get those same feelings that I got from the film. I also relate to the music in personal ways as well. I am waiting to hear them on the radio (or maybe they are already). Congrats to Mr. Macy and his cast for an exceptional movie. I tell everyone I meet to check it out.

Been a fan of Macy for long long time its great he's writing and directing cause he has a really weird perspective he's like the kid that never got picked for kickball in 5th grade...love this guy

I've always dug willy he's the kid who does all the prep work and someone else takes the credit and he doesn't get picked in dodgeball.....hes the blue collar real deal and a humble human being with a range .that no one can touch..Ive always wanted to pick his brain and Matt done a good job w with his insite and great questions ...

Bill macy is my all time favorite actor he's great and he makes bad luck guy look cool...indy films are his true fit I feel..For will be easy for him he's the actors actor....Actors are professional liars but not Mr Macy he makes the character real and I believe and the emotions that he brings out of the character feels genuine....

"Rudderless" is a movie that shows the emotional roller coaster of innocent parents of someone who has done very bad things. These parents, often totally innocent of any wrongdoing themselves, are never treated as victims with compassion although their son was imprisoned or killed. A lady close to where I live called the police as her son was being very disruptive at home. When two policemen arrived and entered her house, they were immediately killed by her son with a shotgun. His mom cried "What did you do?!?" as her son ran upstairs to rearm. He killed a 3rd policeman before additional police reinforcements arrived and he then surrendered. The son was arrested, convicted, and imprisoned. His innocent grieving mother was not treated well and lost all that she owned including her house. A monument was justly built for the three policemen and the policemen's grieving families were given just compensation for life and were justly treated compassionately by the media & community, but the innocent grieving mother was unjustly treated poorly or totally forgotten. In Rudderless, the grieving was especially hard as the parents had no signs that their murdering son had serious psychological problems, their son himself was killed, and their son was a gifted writer of very beautiful songs which previously was never shared with the public.

Before he gets too old, I'd really like to see William H. Macy play George Jetson, in a live action Jetsons movie, with Danny DeVito as Mr. Spacely.

Yeah, he would be the perfect guy for that role. I'm surprised it hasn't happened already. They had that cartoon Jetsons movie, back in like 1990, but that was the last Jetsons anything I've seen for years.
