Im a owner of 13 stick insects of the species pylaemenes guangxiensis, and its really an interesting pet. Goal is to own more types of sticks and leaves.

@@lemonbelly1 yes and that's the problem, you need to check their cage everyday for eggs. the eggs take around 1-3 months to hatch. and how to get rid of the eggs you may ask? that's simple, you should just pour the eggs in a container, and put the container with eggs into a freezer, that's the most painless way to kill them...

I was fixing my car cover and was in tidying process about to dislodge a debris stuck on the corner. I was about to grab it then.. Holey Moley I realised it was a massive stick insect and I nearly freaked out man! OMG!

This is so awesome thank you for making this video! I had an encounter with a stick bug much like the one you showed at the end to keep as an easy starter and I loved it so much. Do you know where to purchase the stick bugs or should I try and go find one in the wild?

Do NOT get them from the wild, you could damage the ecosystem and they could have parisites and will not live nealy as long. Go to a breeder instead, I would give you some recommendations but the ones I know are in the UK😅

I caught one in the wild and laid 130 eggs and she is still laying to this day, surprisingly it eats fruits and guava leaves.
