I can't remember to be honest , I remember it rained that day , so I would say around April may , before winter i think .

Yeah standard for me around 700 mm long for leader , and 12 lb , had many of bream bust me off

Bit of both really sometimes hit the bottom , other time stop it just before

Hey mate, great video love chasing reddies in the yak. Curious when you use those plastics I noticed you twitch but really suttely, do you leave any slack or do you reel so you have tension like if you were bait fishing? Tight lines 🎣 Cheers 🤙

Thanks mate , I normally keep tension on the line just incase a fish strikes you can set the hook easier , but you can also leave a a bit of slack as well , but always watch the line to see if it twitches or moves if does I normally strike just in case it was a fish biting

@@patrickkbell yeah nice that's what I tend to do as well I've only managed 28cm bream off the breakwall at outer harbor, mind you though I was over using plastics I was watching the other rod as I was using bait 😅 I've caught reddies on the Grubz really slow winds they can't help themselves 👌

Different sort of taste nice white flesh , doesn't have the ocean flavour of a herring , but still good

Their ok as a beginner yak , the rudder system is starting to bugger up a bit , but nice stable ride , I can't complain it's perfect down the on the rivers as long as your not dealing with too much current I normally sit in it for 5 hours so it's pretty comfortable , not too heavy to put on my car etc , I will probably upgrade soon , but had plenty of good fishing sessions , I guess it depends on how you wanna spend

Hey mate went first thing in the morning , there's plenty of spots around Pemberton just use Google Earth

@@patrickkbell yeah we checked it out todya seemed good just was too late in the day. The streams water level has been a bit low so this has seemed the best spot.

Actually if you want more Redfin and bigger models you should take the small ones out and leave the bigger models in. The bigger and more mature Redfin breed more and they self populate by eating there own kind. If you take the big ones out and leave the small ones they will start to runt out and over populate with less predators.
