Same thing here in Murrells Inlet. And the wind has been brutal as usual for March. Have started to see more and more fish each week I get the chance to get out so there is plenty to be excited for tho

I noticed you’ve caught a lot of smaller reds. When do the bull reds normally show up?

Inshore redfish are typically always juveniles. Around 30” they start to go offshore. Charleston has resident bull reds in some areas around the harbor, jetties, and nearshore reefs but it gets hot for bulls the late summer/ fall. I prefer catching on artificial lures from a kayak and most of the Bull game around here involves big water and sinking bait. Hoping to target Cobia, Tarpon, and bull reds this year.
