Boozhoo, Red Green fans.(Boozhoo is Hello in Ojibwe) I've been watching Red Green since the first season. When my son was ten, he'd have his buddies over every friday to watch Red, Green. So I went downstairs to see why they were laughing so hard, and I ended up watching Red Green with them every friday,with some 'zza, pop and yucks.I didnt care for the season with the doc and the chef, so I stopped watching it. Then my son said those guys weren't on there anymore, and I ended up watching until the last show. I met Graham Green at a pow wow after he got on the show. He said," I kept telling my wife I want to get on that show. I said it so much, that she grabbed me one day and said,"Well,Call Them!" Couple years ago I bought my son and his 2 buddies, The Red Green DVD collection. My son's buddy said to me, "This show is a part of my youth". Like music, I play Red Green as a background sound while i'm putzing around my garage. Chee-Meegwitch, Red Green! You have been a part of my aging. Chee Meegwitch, is Big Thank You in Ojibwe. That's one too grow on.

Hello, friend! Thanks for the story!! I grew up on this show as well. I saw it Saturday nights on the local PBS station where I am down here in SC, USA. I loved it, and I'm glad they put it on here! I also watch/listen to it while I'm working, or even dping other stuff. I never get tired of it. 👍 It's also super cool that you met Graham Greene. He seems like such a cool dude.

Honestly, I prefer this format. I also prefer the recurring characters from season 2, they were a bit more interesting and diverse than the ones we got in later seasons.

@@OhioGuy216 well Glen hung around for a few more seasons and then got replaced by another lazy guy to run the marina. I liked seeing more lodge members around the lodge and doing more and not just harold and red doing the show and the rest only in segments. However I think noel, helmut, and doc render sucked. I like hap shaunesy better than doc and Dalton better than murry.

@@travisrolison9646 I would've been fine if they kept doing only sketches and no sit-com sections, but while I do agree it's cool to see other members around the lodge, I also agree that the characters introduced in Season 2 weren't it. Ranger Gord, Hap, and Dalton from S1 all felt much more natural (and funnier imo) in their roles and skits, and I think seeing sitcom segments with them would've been much more enjoyable.

Season 2 is the worst by far. But it does get way better in later years
