Red Green show is One of my all time favorite sitcoms . Like the old brit sitcoms too like are you being served, keeping up appearances , the comic strip, etc . one of my all time favorite sitcoms made here in the US was the odd couple with Tony Randall and Jack Klugman . way better than the movie it was a spinoff of . like the all in the family and sanford and son reruns too .

3:57 "A T1 high speed wireless connection!" A T1 connection is something you'd get from your ISP when minimal latency is the goal, not just the high-speed-by-2003-standards of 1.5Mbps. Like if you were running a Counter-Strike server at the time. And making it wireless, even with the newly-standardized 802.11g, would defeat the whole point. Of course, all of this is very out of date as 802.11ax and fiber is all standard now, though I doubt the ol' Possum Lodge has upgraded since '03

I used to sell ceiling fans back when they were a big fad. Did pretty well at it too. They could be a fire hazard if you left them on too long. The bearings would overheat. People that tended to leave them on continuously, usually had problems. When they would complain we would refer them to the fine print on their warranties.

You missed the point...it’s a parody of men who are supposedly “manly men” it’s not an insult to men as a whole as there’s competent men who appeared. It’s about the quirky people and how they don’t see that they’re abnormal not normal as they believe themselves to be
@mikepurdue74724 жыл бұрын
Though i agree with you. This here is only a joke. I see where you are coming from though. There are a lot of shows that only portray men as dummies. Red Green show however, is not like that. Take any modern day cartoon though, (adult cartoons), and they try to always make the dads seem like morons. Family guy, Simpson's, etc. There are a lot of feminists in show biz nowadays. And feminism used to be about equality. Now it has become something more along the lines of.. "we hate all men everywhere". Lol, I'm pretty sure there isn't even a men's channel on tv anymore

The amount of energy those ceiling fans lift the car is the same amount of energy(minus friction and heat loses) those fans will be taking away from the car thru tapping it from the tires. In other words it will increase gas mileage(because you would have added more friction and heat loses by mounting the fans). I know the skits are entertainment only, but i still like to point out the obvious physics flaws. Those skits are cartoons minus the cartoons. lol If it takes a certain amount of energy to make the fan move, then it needs it from somewhere, and so he talked about extension cords, etc... so he chooses to take that energy from the car itself. So for example which means it will take more gas to still go 25 mph than it used to take to do 25 mph because you add drag(more load) on the drive train and therefore you don't save a single ounce of gas, but instead use more because you added friction spots where the tires meet the baby carriage wheels, and the inefficiencies in the fan motors and losses to heat in the motors, as well as the friction for the blades in the wind and trying to push air. Might as well just mount a huge piece of plywood on the front of your car to act as a huge wind block, and you will get similar gas mileage as if you mounted the fans, that is how much energy you will lose trying this stunt of mounting the fans. Looks kinda cool though, like a drone that can't fly. lol
@haroldwilkes66084 жыл бұрын
Picky, picky, picky. Also details, details, details. Besides, if it made sense, Red wouldn't do it. BTW, real world, remember the car with an airplane engine and propeller blowing a sail on the car ? Or the Conestoga wind wagons? Rube Golberg would be proud.

I just don't see how using a snowplow-equipped HO scale model train to clean out a gutter. First of all, it can't go straight up a guttering. Secondly, I just don't see how that little locomotive can push out all that stuck together gunk. I just don't think the locomotive has that much torque.

Spelling bees are usually "first fail out." So if your opponent fails a word and you get it, your opponent is out. If all remaining contestants faiil the same word then they get another. So it's possible to win on one word if everybody esle fails and you are the only one who spells it correctly.
