This is the song that started it all. I remember when I was 8 years old and this song was playing in the car when I asked what the name of it was. my dad passed away when i was a baby, my best friend and her dad was best friends with my dad since they were kids. her dad lived out in the country and when my dad moved from california, he brought all this new music with him, including RHCP. for my birthday in the mail i got three discs. my best friends dad sent them and they had music that my dad and him listened to as kids. out of all of them i liked RHCP the most. scar tissue is my favorite song, it makes me think of him. i miss him and i don’t even remember him, but i know he was a great person and loved my mom so much. red hot chili peppers makes me feel like he’s with me, and like i knew him. thank you, red hot chili peppers.
