Andrea S it kept getting rescheduled at the time of release. Even RHCP themselves called it the "year of nothing". Anthony was on drugs for a start. They had been without john for a couple years too. Just was a shit hole of a time for them

Every non frusciante album is rated lower than the frusciante ones. It ain't a coincidence. He's a genius musician and a beautiful guy

It’s amazing how music is a form of time travel. I remember the first time I ever saw this video. I was about 7 or 8 and I woke up with the flu in the middle of the night. I didn’t want to wake my mom up so I just went to the living room, laid on the couch and turned the TV on. The channel was on MTV and this song came on immediately. pe battistini I’m considered a millennial and I think is honestly up there with the best. I would say 1. Blood Sugar 2. Californication 3. OHM. The other albums have some bangers but the albums as a whole are not very solid. Many people love Blood Sugar Sex Magic and dislike One Hot Minute because John was not there. But for me, this album has so many great crazy songs with a different sounds (due to Dave Navarro) that it should be much more appreciated. I love this song because of Flea's work.
