Me too. I wonder what was happening in Dave's life when he wrote this.

Came looking for the original version off Demon In Disguise (vinyl I bought in the 70's) and found this gem. What a great version. Killer band. Stellar musicians feeding off each other. The impact is spellbinding. Thanks.

All old guys and everyone can play. Look at their faces, they say, "I got this nailed".

deep, as deep as when I was 19 in UF, we played this record until we wore it out. Right there with Led Zep, Leon Russel, this guy captivated and relaxed the dorm. 1972

I was just listening to one of my favorite albums on the record player. As we passed ‘Kansas City’ and went into the ’New Lee Highway Blues’ from Bromberg’s Wanted Dead or Alive album (C. 1974), I said to myself, “What in the heck is this talented band doing these days?” Happy to see still playing!!

saw David as a trio at the The Main Point (Bryn Mawr, PA) back in '72 & the message was as powerful and timely then --as it remains timeless today;
