Back in the late '90s and early '00s, I flew your 747 First Class product once or twice a month from Tokyo to Hong Kong, then Business Class to Singapore or Kuala Lumpur and back to Hong Kong, and the First Class to Frankfurt. These new Business Class seats are much nicer than your First Class product was 25 years ago. Just gorgeous!

I'm not usually negative but this doesn't seem competitive ... CX Y is still 3-3-3 while JAL have got 2-4-2 layout even in economy. Have CX PY got tables that work even if the seat in front reclines ... the dividers don't go all the way down either. Lastly, footwell in the new business suites are narrow, doesn't have massaging feature, while JL/ANA have much wider spaces for your foot

First of all, Y config between 3-3-3 and 2-4-2 is different on different planes. All a350 operators have 333, while all a330 operators use 2-4-2. Its completely dependent on plane type, airlines cant change that. second, I agree on the point that PY tables and dividers which go fully down would be nice. However, the only PY product which fulfills that is onboard JAL's a350. A hardshell, full divided PY cabin is not the norms - it is the best. The CX PY is perfectly fine against most of its competitors (SQ, BR, NH and EK). Last point I agree. The footwell is smaller than before on the Cirrus (a350 a330 and current 777 seat), but its seems still very spacious. And your claim about JL/NH is false. The room has tiny footwells and the regular J for NH is absolutely terrible. JL a350 seat has similar footwell to this while their regular seat 'Sky suite' is horrendous 2-3-2 in J (???). Not to mention their other hard products are very mediocre as well.

every feature i have been longing for are here now. but the window which i love most got cut down from 2 to 1 only. to me this is not an improvement but a downgrade. part of the fun flying in the business class is the unobstructed view. guess your designer has failed to address this. yet still cant wait to try out the aria. cx will have this 777 flying from toronto to hong kong right? when will this flight begin?
