I don’t want to be disrespectful at all but I am still waiting for the biblical reason I need to celebrate Christmas. I had my notebook open and my Bible on my lab ready to be taught. It just seems it is only because people want to. Something I do for God needs to be done Gods way. ❤ These two videos confirmed what I’ve always known… it started with the pagans and was pushed by the Catholics.

I love celebrating Christmas and the birth of Jesus our savior. It is the greatest gift in all the world. Think about it ... people all over the world celebrating the birth of our Savior. It's a NATIONAL holiday. Almost everyone can recant the story of Jesus because the story is told in music, in theater, in children's books, in art work and displayed on TV and radio for everyone to see. From Heavens prospective, do you think that pleases God or grieves Him? How do you think he sees these little children hearing the story of His birth and sharing the love of Christ throughout this Christmas season? I think it brings great joy to His heart! To me, Christmas is the one time of year when the world is most like Christ. The love for others, the giving, the celebration of His birth, the decorations, hearts full of life and joy and hope. We should live like this year around. Can you image if we took it all away? No celebrating. How many people would never get to hear His story. Would that really be better? Or is that just one more way the enemy/the world is trying to silence this message??? When I consider who would most like to do away with Christmas ... would it be Satan or Jesus ... What spirit is behind this? Honestly, I think it would be Satan. I am not trying diminish your desire to serve God whole heartedly. Cuz it is obvious this is your heart. I do believe that is your sincere desire to live pleasing to Him. But sometimes I think satan can use even our good motivations to blind us what's right in front of us. God has a way of redeeming things. Taking what was broken and transforming it into something beautifull that brings glory and honor to Him. That's the story of each of our lives. That's the story of humanity. How fitting it would be for God to take something pagan and turn it into the greatest holiday of the year ... and that holiday be all about what He did for you and me and all humanity in redeeming us from our 'paganness' and cleansing us from all our sins and literally welcome us into His family, the family of God. Wouldn't that be the very nature of God? That's why my Christmas tree is the most beautiful thing in all the world to me! It's a beautiful symbol of Jesus!!!❤❤❤ (I will share them in a separate post)

Exodus 20:4-6 "You shall not make for yourself any idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth". This passage also warns that God is a jealous God who will punish the children for the sins of their fathers. Deuteronomy 12:4-5 in the Bible says, “Do not worship the LORD your God in the way these pagan peoples worship their gods”. It also says to seek the LORD at the place of worship he chooses, where his name will be honored. This statement means that according to certain religious beliefs, particularly within the Abrahamic traditions like Judaism and Christianity, worshipping God by cutting down trees and using them as idols is considered wrong and forbidden; the correct way to worship is through prayer and devotion without relying on physical objects like carved wood. Key points to remember: Biblical reference: This idea primarily comes from the book of Jeremiah in the Bible, where it condemns the practice of pagan cultures who would cut down trees from the forest and carve them into idols for worship. Meaning of "idolatry": The act of worshipping anything other than the one true God is considered idolatry, and using carved wooden objects as a representation of God is seen as a form of this. Spiritual worship: The emphasis is on worshipping God through a personal connection and spiritual devotion rather than through physical rituals involving objects like trees.

I really found some of that stuff hard to believe, how much can you trust the material you used for your research?
