This game consumed my teenage years and it still holds up in my opinion. Just such a fun co-op romp. Pretty awesome that they give most of the quest packs away for free every year. So much stuff to do. Orien is my homeworld still to this day!

I am not gonna lie - in current day market I feel there is a place for MMO like this. Yeah, most people play WoW, ESO, FFXIV or GW2, but games like DDO are unique and have their own charm. Yeah, I love to spend my time in Eorzea and go on next grand adventure or save the world from certain doom, or help dragon to save his sister from kinda-evil-but-more-desperate-Darth-Vader from another dimension but sometimes going through simple dungeon and doing traditional D&D like activities just feels right.

What I like about DDO is you can just get bunch of mates and run all the quests together... other games require you each progress individually then join up for dungeons which is not that much fun for me.

Ah, DDO. Havent played it since 2012 or so. About DM narration in dungeons, as I remember those line were voiced by Gygax himself, or at least some of them (ingame tomb of horrors adaptation, or some severs, maybe others too, I do not remeber)

Delera's voiced by Gygax. Threnal's voiced by Arneson. ToEE's voiced by Wheaton. And i think Sharn is voiced by Keith.

This is such a good video, I am a fairly young person but i LOVE this game so much. I play it with my dad alot and we always have a blast! although i wish you played on the cannith server because that is where i play so i cant join your guild except with a very low level character (like lvl 4 cause i have a veteran account) you become veteran after you complete a certain number of quests

I don't think I've ever gave DDO a try, this does look pretty similar to Neverwinter. Have you played that?

I played Neverwinter for a little while when it first came out, but haven't really touched it since.
