The reason this took so long was because I had a lot going on, mainly homework (because high school). Also, I was fooling around with other stuff online. Anyhow, enjoy! Next time: Step into my workshop...

For some reason I remember the coolest one (1982) giving me the creeps when I was a kid...then I remembered it's that my mind equated it with seeing Altered States with my parents at 7 years old. Weird how something can be equated with a memory for so many years. Awesome video! Nice work 👍👍

All Dogs go to Heaven and The Secret of NIMH was there since these films debuts in the 1980s. 2 of the last United Artists known movies so far were Saved! in 2004 and Red Dawn remake in 2012.

One correction: UA was bought out by MGM in the early '80's, and both company logos disappeared as the company was known as the MGM/UA Entertainment company for a while.

Let's be honest, United Artis didn't have good logos, but they spent money on good movies.

I disagree. The sixties color/circular logo is my favorite United Artists logo

Actually, redlion517, the last known movie that United Artists released was "Saved!" back in 2004; after that, the studio became full-blown MGM.

The turning UA in the early 1980s was also called the paper clip, and was used after the TransAmerica/UA divorce in 1981 due to 2 simple words; "Heaven's Gate."

So I've always wondered how were the earlier logos made before computer animation? Like were they hand-rendered cels?

I still like the mid-sixties UA circular logo.

Vernon Davis every time I see that one, it reminds me of the film "You Only Live Twice." If anyone here remembers, that film was released in 1967, before Sean Connery's sabbatical from playing 007.

@@fredwucher4045 it reminds me of Death Rides A Horse with Lee Van Cleef. The mid sixties color/circular logo can be seen on the Kino Lorber Blu ray of the Dollars Trilogy.
