I just would like to mention, that the composer of this masterpiece is the Syrian composer Radwan Nasri, and it's a part of his album "Ila Nizar" under the title of (Hob Fi Dimashq); and by the way there is another tune by him with Lena that can be consider as a twin of this tune and it's called "Escape and Sunset", which is also included in this album. And for whom he want to know more about him, he has a channel on KZbin .. His name deserves to be mentioned!

my dad lived and studied between 1954 and 1960 in Damascus. he has so fond memories of the people and the place that he still remembers those days as if they were yesterday. the river bereda that runs through the city souk ul hamidiyye feyrouz, umm qulsum, ismail yasin. alas the country is going through hell and we all feel so sorry for the displaced people all enduring unspeakable horrors. Soy mexicano, y quiero decir una cosa: Tan solo escuchar esa canción y ver esas preciosas y hermosas imagenes de Siria me rompe el corazón porque un país tan bello que alberga muchas maravillas no volverá a ser el mismo que antes por culpa de la guerra, al assad, Rusia, daesh, y la ignorancia de nuestros líderes de todo el mundo al no tomar en cuenta las condiciones inhumanas que el pueblo y los refugiados sirios se están enfrentando, especialmente con la nueva ola de populismo nacionalista. Lo que estamos viendo en Alepo solo es un recuerdo lamentable de cómo nuestros líderes fracasaron en Ruanda y Bosnia. Donde chingaos se ha ido la humanidad cuando hay miles inocentes siendo masacrados? Me gustaría visitar Siria uno de esos días cuando haya paz antes de morir. Recen por el pueblo y los refugiados sirio y por la paz no solamente en Siria sino en otras partes del mundo donde hay conflictos bélicos.

my "Big Love" Dimashq ....lived there for 2 years ..... love it , LOVE IT ....and my heart cry, whats happening there now. Damasc, how I know.... is .....scent of the jasmin's in the little streets ..... wonderfull people and amazing smell of the fresh syrian bread ...and those tasty soarmas ...... my FAVORITE city in the whole world ( and I lived in 9 countries ..... and many-many cities / metropolis )
