So what I understood from this video is that 1) Pop up camera instead of under display (100% agree) 2) Back glass gets fingerprints and dust gets in air vent (honesty if you don’t want that just get the model without the glass back and clean the phone every so often) 3) Better cameras (Yes) 4) No bugs (probably just an android thing in general) 5) Waterproofing Overall red magic could definitely fix all of this in the next phone without any comprise, but that doesn’t make this phone bad. If you don’t care about perfect pictures (camera quality is still not terrible, just not flagship level) or an ip rating this is perfect

I seldom liked a video but you got mine on this video. You are probably the only youtuber or user who showed that dust specks gets trapped under the glass back, most if not all reviewers barely used their device for a few days, they only ever uses smoke or flame from a lighter to showcase the fan power, even Jerryrigeverything who literally pry opened the entire phone did not stress test the most unique part about this phone which is whether or not dust/ fine sand/ condensate appear under those glass back. I need a new phone. I had a rm3 for 3 years what i loved was best phone ever but had few faults. Eg.Triggers stopped working.. Im now in 2 minds? Rm8pro or samsung23 ultra ? Yeah dude there hasn't been anything really from what I've seen. I can't tell in terms of anything recent though. They do give Chinese models for the current flagship updates every two months I've gotten 5 or 6 updates on my 8S.

You won't see any battery degradation for at least a year on any phone. But yeah definitely not heat is the culprit and this phome legit has a built in cooling fan so I don't think it'll have any issues like that for at least two to three years.

You can set it, in the settings in game mode between 540 or 960, but it really doesn't have any use outside of game mode because the only place that speed matters is in a fps game like call of duty for example.

The thermal Temps while playing games are significantly lower on the SD 8 Gen 2. The rm8 pro has a fan, so that cools it way down when gaming and charging the phone. For the s23u it doesn't really ever get hot. Two years in phone time is like 20 irl lol.

Yeah it will, they're not very good with software updates. But one thing I always prioritize is the internal hardware instead of the actual updates because the hardware is the engine and if the specs are there it will he future proofed. One android update is the equivalent feature wise of about 5 apple updates lmao. Google also pushed 60 percent of it's features into the play store so they didn't have to do ota updates every time something needed some tweaking. Those get updated every four days. My phone from 2013 still gets these upgrades. You will get years of security updates though. But don't make that your primary focus with this phone. If it's not broken no need to fix it lmao. It's also 800 dollars.

The only thing I can do is recommend the air can. If the dust is so small it's not affected by the can it's not doing anything with device performance.

I also love my S22 plus. And also have same complaints as you. I do use the Redmagic case and that makes the phone feel better. DO NOT USE REDMAGIC SCREEN PROTECTOR lol. I love redmagic for gaming and also use it as a daily driver and I'm a plumber. What I do to clean out the vent is just blow into it hard, cleans it out very well. If I was a camera person though I would hate redmagic,but I hate pictures.

Oh 10000 percent the RM8 Pro Plus is the better choice for gaming only. Check out Geekerwan 's video on the a16 vs the snapdragon 8 gen 2, he brings in the rm8 pro and it literally destroys everything looool. When the frame drop test happened there were like 4 drops total vs other apps that had drops basically every second lol. Esp the iphone it can't sustain the high performance because of the heating and throttling. The fan and the ram make all the difference. The best camera on the device is the x1 main shooter as you can get really quality photos. Every other camera sucks. What I would do is what I do, I switch to the s23u when I don't want to game and I want to take pictures and all that. And then I switch back when I want to game. I just sim swap. Literally just pop it out and put it in the other device. I think the variety is nice man. I would go for it since it's 800 and the best out for gaming by far!

Nah man there's no need it charges fast enough because the phone is charging two separate batteries and not one large battery. Having two cables is gimmicky and imo isn't needed. Check out my charging videos, it charges up in about 43 minutes from 0!

There are little magnet dust covers that you can cut down to fit the phone that people use for PCs. It's not technically in the phone as the only thing in the tunnel is the fan and that's it so it's not gonna ruin it, but still

When the fan is activated the fan restarts? Wdym? The toggle turns it on and off. Could you give some more details? Thanks. You could have automatic fan enabled instead of full blast and this could just be how the phone thinks it needs to behave. Switch the fant to full blast.

Oh I see, tough choice. I'd definitely get the 8 pro and skip the 7 all together. It's an upgrade but the 8 gen 2 is much better than the gen 1. Even the 12 ram 8 pro is better than the previous gen with 16-18. On a side note 18 gigs of ram would be cool for the 9 pro.

I wonder if u have a time to check out how does it perform in this phone, since my game is bugged and gives half of the fps your phone supports eg:120hz>60fps. If you have 165hz display would be 88 fps which is still huge. So i want to know if the extra procesing power from gen 2 makes for it the lost fps. Also subsicribed for future content.

Also for the battery I think it just disables it after ten minutes for some reason, but it's nice you were able to get it to work with another brick. I don't usually use charge separation since the battery is so huge that it lasts me all day.

Which is a toggle you can turn on to where the power chord keeps your phone on but doesn't actively charge the device. It's supposed to preserve battery life but also not degrade it from hours of usage. You won't regret it, it's the best gaming phone on the market.

If ur constantly running Diablo mode than that's probably why. Some games really do make the phone nuclear hot though. Slap on a case it will help ya deal with the heat.

@@TechReviewTom no im don't play in diablo mode I use the balanced mode at 120 hz and still the cpu reaches 42 degrees and the battery 38-40

@angelxd993 what game are you playing? Go up a mode to rise at least, you're probably throttling the processor bc it's set so low that it pushes the chip to do more than it's set to do. What game and what settings let me try it out myself for ya to see if I get jt too lol

Its interesting how people have different preferences. I had a samsung and it would overheat while i was gaming, super annoying and dumb.. now i have the fan and will never look back.. if ur not a gamer u dont need the fan, but just get a carbon fiber case and never turn fan on

That was just due to poor heat management from earlier snapdragon chips. What model did you have? The 8 gen 2 has done an outstanding job with heat management it's honestly insanely better. You have a rm8pro? The fan is awesome. But even without the fan the phone doesn't get super hot bc of the 8 gen 2! Samsung has the same thing this year it's great! The carbon fiber cases are pretty cool man I might consider it lol. 😊

Ha tenido algún problema o falla con el móvil? Estoy en un grupo de este móvil y he visto varios problemas que reportan los usuarios como por ejemplo, la batería se descarga 1% por cada segundo, al cargar carga la batería en cuestión de segundos, la separación de carga no funciona, problemas de pantalla donde al bajar el brillo totalmente con un fondo oscuro y en un cuarto oscuro se ven manchas en la pantalla como si fuera por desgaste siendo una pantalla nueva. Algo que me sucedió por ejemplo y solo me pasó una vez el brillo estaba al 100% le intenté bajar el brillo incluso lo bajé al 1% y seguía como si estuviera al 100%. Conclusión, este móvil es excelente PERO necesita un GRAN actualización que solucione las fallas reportadas por los usuarios.

I mean it's definitely not perfect but its also not 1600 like an iPhone you know? I've never had any battery drain issues, when I use youtube ambient mode theres this weird green line in the camera lol. I don't use ambient mode, but it was weird seeing that. Honestly sometimes you just need to reset your phone. You also never know what people do to their phones or what they download, some could literally have malware lol.

I don't use charge separation, but it sucks if it turns off randomly or doesn't work well. The phone going from 0 -100 in 43 minutes, and the battery life lasting all day is enough for me.

What do you mean it takes you out of pub g? It crashes? I haven't had any pub g crashes. What ram model do you have? The 16 won't have that issue, the 12 shouldnt either. Sorry that's happening. Also the sound is great just turn on high quality audio in the settings. You can also literally adjust the sound down to individual frequency as it has a built in equalizer! The sound is great it is as good as any other flagship. I'm glad you like the dimensions it's awesome I'm my opinion as well!

Nah bro go with the 16 gigs of ram that plays into gaming for sure. Also bro I filled up my space super fast with games it's crazy like cod mobile takes up 27 gigs. It's worth the extra 150 man trust me.

Putting apps on a separate SD is annoying bc the app still has to be moved (I'm almost positive) back to the main hard drive to run. Having 512 is great man. I had 128 on my iphone 13 pro max and 256 on my 14 pro max. But yeah with the size of updates in the future as well, it's gonna jack that space up even more. I wouldn't doubt it if we eventually needed 1tb minimum like on an Xbox. Also for me I thought I would be all about gaming on my Xbox one x, but honestly I barely touch it, I have a gaming PC as well, I literally only use it for coding assignments for my school 😂😂.

It's gotten 3 updates since it's been out and it's actually really stable software. They addressed the issues in updates but people are seeing old complaints and thinking it's still happening. Get tbe new 8S Pro Plus, it has a feature called Z -assistant. In there you can clear out excess files, do virus scans, optimize the phone, ect. The phone has gotten 2 updates since release on the Chinese model!

Maybe, but thats not really even something anyone is thinking about for the most part. The reason you get this phone Is the long 6000 mah battery life, haptic triggers, 16 gigs of ram, 512 storage, the 960hz display touch response time, the under display camera, the snapdragon 8 gen 2. This is also 800 dollars. The s9 and S10 I'm pretty sure we're about a thousand when they came out, but yeah man I don't take pictures on it I use my s23 ultra for that. I record with this when I need to though.

bro its not heavy lol and the software isnt sluggish. Sluggishness is usually because the ram is full, if i notice it i clear the ram. if you have a ton of weird issues you probably got some malware from downloading something. i had malware and i wiped the phone and its gone. That malware would have slowed any phone. the rom is lightweight and the specs are powerful. it cant be sluggish, this is my experience make your own video if you think differently lol.
