@Arxgxmi I think an official water resistance certification just means there is a 100 percent guarantee that it will be fine if it gets wet. I think without it the phone is still water resistant, it's just not perfect.

Yeah a lot of people review it by reading off a spec sheet in 15 minutes and call it a day. Screw that bro, that's the last thing I want to see when looking to buy a phone or when I am waiting for a phone to deliver. I want to put out so many videos that people won't have watched all of my videos by the time it shows up at their house for delivery.

The best thing you may could have e done is it buy the international version as they have more up to date features and any other stuff that could make the phone be allot better or smooth Also U could have bought the 16gb ram snowfall (imo best colour phone on rm9) Other than that I appreciate watching your channels i wanted the redmagic9. Be careful in purchasing this device and think you can use it as your daily driver. It only has 480P max resolution on video playback on Netflix, Disney + and HBO Max. It has cetified L1 but for some reason this streaming services doesnt recognize the device as compatible.

that's a software issue with netflix and the others.. can be fixed by emailing them with your device specs.. they will rectify it with another update.. i have done this before due to an oppo I had and noticed a new update within a month

As nice as higher resolution screens are, sticking with 1080p means that games like codm which people like to play at 120fps will be significantly easier to run smoothly for extended periods of time due to less load on the cpu/gpu. Plus like you said, regarding resolution the screen isn't "bad", just not amazing. Also its still 120hz amoled which is sick. Cheers.

yo bro! you can replace the launcher! I did this with Nova Prime. you have to open nova settings and 'select default launcher'. I did select the launcher when I installed it, and nothing happened, thus I had to do it manually from inside nova.

Microsoft launcher works well with Redmagic 9pro. Nova launcher kinda buggy with this phone though I dont know why.
