In 1994 I had saved enough pocket money to buy one album. I had my heart set on Tical, but my friend convinced me to buy Dare Iz A Darkside, which this song is from. To say my life was changed was perhaps a bit extreme, but Funk Doc became my rap idol and honestly still is.

Red was my favorite rapper when Whut? released in 1992 but when I heard Dare Iz A Darkside in 1994, I was hooked to everything he released after that!! Darkside didn't sound like any of the other hip hop albums released in 94' this is why I always felt like Redman was way ahead of his time and other rappers.

Im 30 years old now and ive never been to USA but i know this track and i can't describe feelings that blows in my head when im listing to this beat its like a time machine for me .I used to listen to this type of music when i was younger and i used to smoke and get drunk back then :d it reminds me of the good old days.Thank you Redman ;)

Redman is one of my top 5 best rappers of all time. Dudes a legend for real. when I first got that dare iz a darkside CD back in the day that shit got heavy rotation, this joint and sooperman lova were my joints, whole album was dope tho.

Erik Sermon absolutely killed this beat. I loved Whut the Album In 92 but then I never bought Dare is Darkside in 94. This maybe my favorite Redman track of all time along with Tim 4 Sum Aksion. I used to bump this in my parents Maxima-Bose speakers!!
