Main reason for having the throttle on the tube is you can use your other hand to operate a stand on blower or stand on mower

@@jessicawashburn9360 I don’t have either a standon blower or a standon mower, and plus I like the hip throttle much better it’s a personal preference

I blow leaves on hills with trees. I like to have a hand free to hold onto trees for balance. But, as you said, it is personal preference. That’s why both types are offered. I own the Echo PB 9010T. A beast of a blower.

@@jimmybobhere I also have an echo 9010H it’s been a beast of a blower, just proper maintenance and no major issues with it.

Hmm so your telling me the manufacture engineers just thought one day hey let’s put the pistol throttle so they can operate a stand on mower .. 😅

Why can’t you have that blower in your state ?

Does the redmax hose feel more flexible than the echo?
@ernieharlin82633 ай бұрын
@@benjaminleslie3155 yea it’s not as stiff as the echo 9010 hose. If you’re putting the blower on a rack it’ll actually kink the hose like how it was on the echo 8010’s when they first came out, I just let it hang and it’s fine. Easy to move the hose as for it is a lighter hose as well

I bought that and it runs horribly, very rough, almost stalls when increasing power. I returned it and they can't find anything wrong. I sold my Echo 9010 to buy this and regret it now. It was $799. Anyone else have issues with this?
@ernieharlin82633 ай бұрын
@@jeffreymarks3724 i actually just started having issues with it, but only the mornings is when I have the issue, once it smooths out and warms up really good it works good for the rest of the day, kinda frustrating when this time of year is colder and I got it for the leaves. But the only thing I can think that makes it have the issue I have and you have is that the carburetor isn’t like a regular carburetor, is electronically controlled/self adjusting to different climates supposedly. They should’ve kept using the same style carburetor as the old ones

…It’s a Husqvarna painted like a Redmax. Husqvarna bought them out and changed the components. Echo and Shindawa are the way to go with backpack blowers nowadays. Stihl has some decent stuff but not at level of Echo or Shindawa. Like everything else, the older stuff was made well now that these companies are buying each other out the only thing the same is the name.

@@82dupont Thank you, I was told Red Max was better than Echo. I had the 9010 and was very happy, but it has no waist and chest straps, so it is harder to walk around with.
@ernieharlin82632 ай бұрын
@ I’m a huge echo user, I’ve ran the 9010’s for the last couple years and they’ve been great, the redmax 9000 blows the 9010 away as they’re still close in power, the biggest flaw I see in the redmax 9000 is it’s autotune carburetor, they should’ve kept using their older style carburetor instead of putting electronics on it
