This is so insanely good. Came here to hear the Poly Cinematic and now I also want a Deluge! Amazing track, regardless of what's being used.

Sometimes KZbin's algorithms are stupid as hell, but this time they certainly picked a winner. This was a recommended video while I was looking for information on the Poly Hector. The Poly Cinematic is a much better fit for what I'm trying to do, so thanks for magically appearing in my list and making me buy one!

This is lovely! I appreciate the ambient channel because each new venture feels like an EP, and since there is no talking you can stay entirely for the music and it feels less like a review or technical video. Not that I don't like your videos that you talk and review things or do tutorials, but its nice to have both!

Coming back to this cuz jam 2 is such a vibe. Really wanna hear the poly cinematic go full trance, I'm wondering if it has the JP8000 goodness or if that's more the Chainsaw's purview, having not had the chance to touch either.

How are you sequencing it? I've not found a good way to do this from within my eurorack, except for the traditional one with CV/Gate and the chord select CV (which isn't quite using it to its full potential I feel).

All good things come to those who wait 50 seconds 😇 0:50 “For this video, we’ll be using it with MIDI from the Synthstrom Deluge”…
@AllanEising3 жыл бұрын
@@vinylarchaeologist can’t believe I missed that 🤦♂️
@vinylarchaeologist3 жыл бұрын
@@AllanEising No wonders, it went by in a flash…. I think an Arturia Keystep over MIDI would be also a good solution, since you can play it but also program polyphonic sequences within it… But I can’t think of any solutions that stay within Eurorack. Even the Doepfer polyphonic modules rely on them being played externally.
@surrogatemarker3 жыл бұрын
Since the knobula is best controlled over MIDI You could probably record and store a MIDI sequence track in the squarp Hermod module and then send midi to the knobula as well. IMHO, it’s more difficult to do the same purely over CV

I have a hard time understanding why I'd want this over a proper polysynth. This device in particular has very limited CV inputs, so it seems like the main advantage to having it in eurorack is you could use your euro sequencers, but again you could use cv->midi for the same purpose.
