Hi 🙂 I wanted to replace the SSD with Lexar NM790 and the wifi card with Intel AX210 (also tried Intel BE200 but the laptop wouldn't boot). Opening the bottom was easy but closing it wasn't 😮 Each time some of the latches wouldn't catch and I didn't want to be use a lot of force. In the end I've managed to somehow close it but unfortunately 1 or 2 of the plastic latches broke off 😡 After screwing the case down, everything seems to still be rigid and solid but time will tell... 😐 I've started looking for a replacement bottom part but all I could find were ones for the Intel 2022 edition. They look the same but maybe someone knows if they're truly identical?

could you tell us what is you assessment of overall build and in particular screen quality ? Did you overcome the booting problem was with NVMe?

@@andrzejhoroszczak5354 Hi 🙂 The build quality is great and I can't really say anything negative about it. It feels solid and sturdy, though maybe a tiny bit less "premium" than the original Mi Notebook Pro (after all Redmi is meant for more budget conscious customers). The screen is also great - with high resolution and high refresh. Obviously you need to use scaling or the text will be too small... I was looking for a work laptop that works well with Linux and it does the job perfectly. If you have any specific questions, please let me know and I'll try to answer. The booting problem was caused by the Intel BE200 wifi 7 card. I've switched to AX210 wifi 6e and the problem was gone.
