2nd this! I have older model 34" Xiaomi and black smear is horrid on it, got a cheap 24" VA and black smear to my eyes is almost unnoticeable in comparison wayyyyy better than Xiaomi this one > kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5CrfJ1rh7Vonrs if new Xiaomi is a good as this I'll grab one

​@@264x720 Hey man, I'm still using the previous version of 34 Curved. You can just increase the Black Level to 90-100 to get rid of the deep blacks and completely eliminate the black smearing. The black acts like gray (like IPS), but it completely eliminates the black smearing. I had another problem, a strong overshoot when choosing a high response time. Fixed by switching from 8bit+FRC to 8bit. Idk if i should switch to newer version. 180Hz 🤤

@valorreviews hdmi 2.0 bro. My main issue is connecting it with my ps5. Do you have any exp on it? When I connect my laptop, the resolution is at 3440x1440. But when I switch over, I only can get up to 1920x1080p. It also says on the info that it supports up to 120hz so not sure why both the reso and refresh rate are not up there

Do you have a MacBook? If you do, put them side by side and they and match this monitor to the MacBook monitor. That's what I did. If you don't have one, let me know so that I can just tell you what to adjust.

Upon setting up mine, i noticed some ghosting and minor blurs with icons, texts look weird but I'm guessing it's my HDMI cord, got it just across the street. Did you notice that on yours?

definitely the HDMI cable. i have had this issue with other monitors. you'll need to get a good quality hdmi cable or get a Display port to usb type c cable. most of them are good quality.

I bought the same monitor as yours but the multitasking (split the monitor in 2 different views) is not working on my side. What I have is that in monitor , one side is the same with the other side (like duplicated). Any thoughts how to achieve the multitasking?

You seem to misunderstand the feature, the split screen feature refers to literally having 2 display(monitor) in 1 monitor. For example you have 2 laptops , 1 mac and 1 windows , you can use both laptops to display different systems in that 1 monitor just like on the his review. As for your experience your duplicate screen is just a windows feature where there a couple of options such is duplicate, extend or choose one display either 1 or 2

probably the port of your laptop is HDMI 1.4. Check the laptop specs, you need HDMI 2.0 to make high refresh rates work. If it is, you then need a higher quality cable.

I have the mi34 and I wouldn't recommend getting the Redmi 34 because they are also the same. The Redmi 34 has a faster refresh of 180hz while the Mi 34 refreshes at 140hz, your eyes won't be able to tell the difference. Also another advantage is the Redmi 34 has a faster response time of 1ms. The mi34 response time is 3ms. Picture quality looks the same. If you have the mi34, no need to get the Redmi 34.

Does this happen with that panel aswell? Could you test that out pls 🙏🏻 I have seen IPS vs VA comparisons, they said the Ghosting with VA can be back and the white Text or dark mode Websites (like Huawei) the white/grey text disappears when scrolling. Also when you have white particles moving the camera the whote dots disappeared because of the Ghosting.
