The best thing about phones these days is not about curved or fold or titanium body, it is the budget phones like this are getting very good and fast enough to carry out day to day tasks at a very comfortable expense. I've only paid 170 USD for china version of this phone, switched to global ROM and it performs like a champ. Notifications come through almost instantly, no lags through apps and sweeet 120 hz refresh rate. It is a blessing that Xiaomi delivers such products.

Im watching this on my note 12 pro+ 5g and I gotta say the first 2 days of having this phone is a blast! I came from a Realme Pro 5 and I got it when it was relatively new back in the day but because it had a lower screen protection (gorilla glass 3) I accidentally dropped it at some point and the screen died. I then had to be stuck with an iPhone 6s running iOS 15 and I hated it lol. That being said I do appreciate the apple eco system and it's products but iOS really isn't for me. When I got this I couldn't believe how massive the screen was and with the AMOLED HDR10 Display watching content was a beautif and crisp as ever. I'll even go as far to say that this screen rivals our Samsung 4k TV with HDR(not OLED btw) in terms of display quality And this is a major step up from my old Realme 5 pro and I love it

This is worth it even know, they're not that much apart from the note 13 since it hasn't even been a year after it's release. im already on Android 13 abd will also get the HyperOS update with android 14 when it gets released probably Q1 2024

I just bought this today after my poco f3 finally packed it in after 3 years of heavy use, that was a great phone. Though after 3 years im basically paying exactly the same price for a slightly inferior phone.. does anyone else feel like innovation and 'bang for your buck' hasnt changed at all in the last 4 years or so, especially in a sector that used to have great innovations every year

@zororat that's not the point. The Note 13 pro plus dimensity 7200 ultra is a pretty big upgrade. Similar performance to snapdragon 865 and better in some ways. Better efficiency and cooler and the 865 and 870 wasn't a chip that had any heating issues. Plus the improved ISP. The 7200 ultra was known to come on the 13 pro plus a couple of months now.

Pro plus has got a highlight failure in camera. Cannot handle the highlights well, which are burned out. However the image quality is good, this is a very annoying failure. Plyaing with exposure before shoot doesn't solve this proble. So the pro is better according to this video.

This phone is good and all, Xiaomi will never be going back to its roots as it's now a more established brand. The pricing is a bit high at this point as opposed to a more "buget-centric" brand. Pixel 6a might be only good for photography, the tensor is built by Samsung so expect same problem like exynos, battery is only average at best and combine that my really slow charging , if you want good photos get some compact cameras or dlsr that's more like my way in the future

F5 for smooth performance, RN12 pro for better camera. F5 is on Snapdragon 7+ gen 2 SOC and that's better than SN 8 gen 1 which is last year's flagship Soc. On the other hand RN12 pro is using Sony imx camera sensor which is superior to Omnicos sensors no matter what the pixel count is.

The Sensors are almost the same. It's not 50MP vs 200MP. The reality is: 12MP@2.0micrometer vs 12MP@2.24micrometer. So both shot 12MP fotos but the ProPlus has a little bit bigger pixels and therefore will be a little bit better in lowlight. The 200MP on the Samsung Sensor is pure Marketing. There are 48MP sensors that are better (for example OV48C).

​@@Alfamoto8 then forget Xiaomi. Without tricking around with google camera, the indoors performance of the Redmi phones is ridiculously bad. It´s not even a sensor issue. It´s a software issue. And sensor-wise the 200MP is definitely not worth the price difference, especially because the 50MP sensor is a quite good sony sensor (IMX766).

How many 5G antennas are there where you live? There is zero in my whole country. And there will continue to be zero because no one cares. If you compare picture quality of note 12 pro 4G and pro 5G, the camera is better on 4G model, it's closer to Pro plus model (100mpx) and I am talking about the details contained in those megapixels, not megapixels because canon A51 from 2 decades ago took better pictures.

The more i look at the reviews and comments of people the more i know nothing about a certain phone. I have an option at my phone provider. The Motorola edge 40, Redmi note 12 pro, Samsung a54, Xiaomi 13 lite, Honor 90, Samsung s23. And guess what. For every phone i mentioned there is always someone complaining that is bad. They are complaining that the battery is weak, it drains fast, bad cameras, bad display, heating, lag,... Amateur reviewers that don't owne a certain phone and are talking s h i t about it based on specs or name brande. Even for the moste expensive on the list the Samsung s23. I will choose by myself and if i don't like something on the phone i will get over it. Of course, if it will get malfunctioned o have warranty. Nothing is 100% perfect. 🎉

Friendly advice, guys: STAY AWAY from this phone! Shit phone. The battery can't go even for 10 hours watching videos, it drains completely at a random pace... One day you watch 1hour of YT and it loses 5% of the charge, the other day you watch for 15minutes and it loses 30%. I have changed TWO 12 Pro+ phones in just two months, both got their chip responsible for mobile data FRIED! I also caught my phone reloading the OS and its content again and again, at random, for no reason at all. I am now on my THIRD phone of this model, in less than 3 months. If this fails, I am done with Xiaomi for good!
