Redmi Note 12 Pro Unboxing and Hands on opinion and my impressions after using the smartphone for a few days the Redmi Note 12 Pro has a 6.67" 10-bit AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate it's powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 1080 5G chipset comes with 6/8GB RAM and 128/256 GB storage, it has a triple rear camera the main being 50MP Sony IMX766 and 16MP front facing camera and comes with 5000 mah battery with 67W fast charger.

Redmi Note 12 Pro should've had Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. The rest is fine. I was waiting to buy it, but I don't trust MediaTek processors. Redmi Note 12 has Snapdragon 4 Gen 1, but it misses out on stereo speakers. It's very difficult to get a well-rounded phone in the mid-range market now. Redmi Note 10 Pro was the last best choice in that segment. Also, the brands have deliberately shifted the mid-range category from ₹13-18K to ₹20-25K while omitting some features. You only get the base model for ₹15K now, instead of the 'Pro' model.

Mediatek offers much better SoCs at cheap price Snapdragon SoCs are overpriced. Mediatek 1200, 1300, 8100, 9000, 9200 all these are great SoCs

Mediatek processors provide fabulous value for their price. Frankly speaking all companies should go with Mediatek SoCs as performance is great and then the price can be kept very competitive. It crushes all Snapdragons in the sub 30k price bracket for price to performance ratio.

I believe Xiaomi should have worked to provide better internals rather than following trend of hypes! Having NFC, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.0 or 3.1 Storage with a 33 to 67 watt charging and a well optimised 50 or 64 MP camera with OIS enabled for videos as well should have made Note 12 and 12 Pro a great device!

Due to dynamic refresh rate u should keep it at 120hz bcoz it will always adjust refresh according to content . It is also available in realme gt neo 2 . I keep it at 120hz and battery backup is same and experience is super smooth(as it doesn't need to follow algorithms to check what refresh it should keep).

Ranjit Sir, I would like to request you to kindly include the results from CPU Throttling app to check the sustained performance or performance drop after prolonged usage, it is becoming a very important parameter! I.e. My OnePlus 10 pro 5G peaks at almost 80% of it's capacity after 15-30 mins of that application running!

From benchmark screenshots, it looks like they are run with performance mode. Can you please check? We see battery is seen in blue color in all those. That comes in case boost mode.

Insanely overpriced, considering miui experience,lack of security like Knox or thinkshield, and lesser software updates in comparison to Samsung. I think 11i(67w normal variant ) selling at 18,499Rs Brought last year was better ,Dimensity 920-1080 are similar ,both had 120hz amoled and 11i additionally has 3.5mm Jack/sd slot.

Best Phone for Parents, Just KZbin(Multimedia) consumption and Call is important. Should I go for Moto edge 30 or Redmi Note 12 Pro or Just Moto G62 is enough? I know Moto G72 is better option but since 5G is growing so fast now in India I think 5G phone is a better option.
