Nah. It's not because of your region though. Just leave your phone on your default region, and make sure you're connected to the internet, and turn on "AUTOMATIC SYSTEM UPDATES". Hello. I really can't tell why you aren't receiving updates. You can take the phone to the Official Xiaomi store where you bought it from, and tell them you wanna manually install software update. They will be able to sort it out.

But if it didn't receive it, you can go to your device's settings and go to updates, and at the top right corner, select the option to opt-in for quick system update. So, whenever you're connected to WiFi, the update can automatically download.

Hello there. It's unfortunate that he's yet to receive the HyperOS version 1 update, when the HyperOS version 2.0 (based on Android 15) is already scheduled for release before the end of the year. I think you need to go to the settings to turn on "Receive Early system Updates" and also turn on "Automatic updates". Then, make sure you have enough storage on your phone, and if you're connected to a good internet, you will definitely receive the update. Hope this helps. HyperOS on this phone is terrible. Vibrations doesn't work without haptics ON and notifications from callendar are not working properly. Avoid it.

@@EruksTeejay I'm using official version for EU (didn't download any ROM manually). My OS is 1.0.16.0 UNREUXM. There are many people who have problems with notifications because Android 13 + MIUI don't like them. In my case it's only callendar problem but it's very important for me. Also in MIUI 14 I didn't have problems with vibrations in silent mode. In HyperOS you cannot use them unless you turn ON the haptics.
