I like ur reviews eugoson, simple, clean and very detailed. For longevity go samsung all the way. If ur the type who changes phone every 2 yrs go redmi note 14. I think the OS of redmi is hyperOS not Miui anymore and its a better version than Miui.

I just wanted to say even tho the redmi doesn't have 7 years of updates you can still use it for 7 years, updates aren't that important I know people still on android 10/11/12 without issues

well where im from, note 14 is for 190 usd while a16 for just 130 usd so it's actually imo a much better deal than the note

The redmi Note 14 isn't even in the same class with the a16, so the comparison isn't really fair already . It should be compared with the A2x or A3x series

As some who used Mi9T pro( with pop up camera, still working till today, 6yrs later) and one who currently use galaxy S24ULTRA. Samsung is a disgrace. Why the hell are they selling phones without charger. If they have argument that those who use flagship phones are not usually first time users, meaning they have charger already ( which is absolute nonsense) what of children buying A16 as first phone? How do they expect them to charge the phones? The only reason i bought this S24ULTRA is because there was a promotion and i got it $800 ( CAD) off. I'm ready to sell it. It's very good, but at full price I'll NEVER buy it. Samsung copies Apple when it comes to stealing from customers. From removing headphones the went to charger, very soon, you will be getting their phone without battery, you pay for it separately if you want one.

Well to be fair, this isn't really a fair comparison to me. The a16 should be compared with the redmi x series(I.e redmi 13, 14, 14c, etc) and the redmi note 14 should be compared with the A2x or 3x series.

I bought Redmi Note 13 pro and regret since then. I was looking for a samsung but for the price redmi was a better option and my previous phone is samsung (7years) and never used redmi. Comparing to A25 this phone's hardware is better SO I have chosen this one. I have realized how bad redmi is within a week of purchase. Hardware is fine, Software ruining it all + Full of ads. It's been 2months now there are so many issues that I had to create a note to remember all. Upsides vs downsides. I can tell the numbers are Downside 35 vs 6 Upsides. Great 😐😐 Have to sell this phone soon and go to A25 even it's looks like 3× cheaper budget phone.
