im xiaomi 8 pro user and this "ghost touch/auto touch" also happens to me often had to turn off and on screen to work normally again. But i have fixed mine. What i did is i logged out my mi account on my phone and the "ghost touching/auto touch" never happened again. Hope this one helps.
