Another solution -- go to dial pad and dial *#899# ( go to engineering mode ) then manual test > proximity sensor> calibrated > cover the sensor by your hand and click calobrate > calibrate in 3cm option appeared Now your problem is solve Note-- enginnering mode code different in another mobiles so you can watch video in this topic on your specific device

My God, how is it possible, I've been having this problem for months.... it doesn't make any sense, how can covering the sensor with glue tape solve the problem?.... but points it solved mine, thank you very much
