You can sync your Mi Fitness to Strava and Google Fit. Everytime you start an exercise in Mi Fit the data is automatically saved to Strava and Google Fit. Tried and tested hehe

No. Notifications will only work if phone is near since it is connecter via Bluetooth. If you don't have the phone near you, it will only track your physical activities
