+ilovelegos2000 Me too! I became attached to it and my mom was always having to extend how long we kept it. I finally ended up buying the VHS with my tooth fairy money

There were a few cartoons made in the middle 1940s where Figaro just shows up as being Minnie's cat (Sometimes with Pluto there, appearing to be her dog instead of Mickey's). No explanation of how he crossed both the Atlantic Ocean and about 70 years in time to make that switch. X) Cleo's also in one of them.

I'm starting to think that Vladimir "Bill" Tytla, Art Babbitt, Norm Ferguson, and Fred Moore should have been given their own name at Disney like the Nine Old Men. They should've been called the "Four Horsemen" or "Disney's Horsemen."

That's creative.

With a few people saying that they were the driving force of the studio trying to keep it alive before Snow White, I can see that. They were there for Walt when he first came to Hollywood. They deserve recognition.

Figaro is the best character in that movie. It seems Minnie Mouse now owns figaro.

I named my own cat after Figaro. He looked just like him, too.

I Wonder How They Made Anime Movies/Stories At The Older Times?!

It's true there weren't women animators, but I understand there were many women painting the cels at the studio, so they were at least hired artists.

@iDraw3G Because this film was made in the 1930's before the civil rights movement. At that time the education and opportunity to make a career as an animator would have been available to white males and pretty much no one else. That's also why there weren't a lot of woman artists at the studio either. In the 50's and 60's as attitudes began to change you can see more diversity at Disney, including people like Floyd Norman.
