The chest from the aplcas was not because you killed them. If you only pick up the sunsettias and nothing more, the alpacas will spit on you (because you stole their meal lol) and then run away, after that the chest spawns. :D

The thing I really like about Mualani is that you can run Candace and Dehya together on a team. A Dendro to make sure that there is still Pyro through Burning (Baizhu for comfy healing and stuff) and youre good to go. Technically Xiangling is better for application but she is like a black hole regarding energy

You'll want your Candace to be C5 of lower cuz her C6 can make her steal vapes from Mualani, Dehya doesn't need cons to do her job in this team but having her C2 is helpful in general

Oh yeah dunno if you have realized this Mr. Nasyo but once you've completed Mualani's Story Quest, they'll give you more ascension materials. This saved me some plenty of Resin and time to explore to hoard materials and used for other stuff like weapon/artifact farming instead.

If it feels weighty on ur conscious to kill Alpacas, for one that I recall, you just need to gather stuff they surround and they disperse leaving a chest behind. Yea the rng can still rekt ur artifacts even with essence. I only use it if I need a specific mainstat only, like em for my Kazuha. After that I dont really care what stat he rolls cuz he is there only to cc and shred. That and I plan to use it to refine my existing builds, so even if I roll bad stuff my characters are built anyway.

Kachina on the new set can work as a good support for Mualani. It gives 40% dmg to the elements the wearer reacts with. I'm about halfway thru the vid, but in case you didn't know, you can salvage artifacts from the inventory menu to get artifact exp bottles. I'm running Nymph set on her (for now), with Kachina (w/ Cinder City), C2 Babs, Furina. I managed to get 120% Hydro DMG bonus. Crazy.

Btw if you dont have Mualani, Kachina, or Kinich, you can indwell on the saurians to do those exploration things. Same as how you dont need Fontain characters to use Pneumaousia when exploring

The bar is a nightsoul state bar, since a lot of Naltan characters and mechanics rely on that ,it helps with keeping track of it. Also from now on Character quests are gonna give mats if you do them in the update they debut in,so if you wanna save some resources and time you might wanna keep track of those. Additionally challenges that can be done with character skills (like the surfing challenge you did as Mualani in this video)all can be done as one of the saurians, that challenge gives you water saurian to indwell to do the challenge. Obsidian codex and that support set is pretty much gonna be the staple for every naltan dps/support unless they aren't a standard crit dps (like a bloom/hyperbloom/burgoen dps),since obsidian codex gives damage% ,which would buff a dps regardless of thier element or thier scaling, and the crit bonus is always helpful,and the other set is just great for supports of crit dpses , technically speaking only Kachina can use them but we'll probably get more supports in the future.

I might not be wording this good, but if you get 3 obsidian rings pieces (rng in precious or exquisite chests) , you can combine them into an obsidian ring and break the seal and get a free 5 star set for each of the new artifacts (each tribe has a seal and 3 pieces each)

We love to see Mualani appreciation 💘💘💘 Also since her thing is hydro vape, she doesn’t have that many options for teammates as of now. The best team she has is Dehya/Emilie (or Nahida but her personal damage goes way down), the last teammate is kind of empty because you don’t really want a second hydro (they can steal Mualani’s vapes), any anemo doesn’t really work because VV only lasts for 8s, Xiangling solo pyro (Bennett/pyro resonance is useless) needs 300% er and I want to be freed from XL. I love Mualani sm, so yeah Emilie is on my wish list now 😭

I'm prolly the only one actually liking the artifact transmuter. I mean, it's either that or the HSR/ZZZ equivalent, in which the only thing you can choose is the main stat. With the transmuter, you're gambling with 2 other substats. With self model resin or calibrator, you're gambling with 4 whole substats.
