And that's my problem with players. They have become to used to seeing 5stars that have stupid strong abilities that when Dehya came out, players instantly bashed her kit without trying to figure out a way to make her work. She isn't a man DPS character, she's support/sub-dps. They saw another 5 star pyro claymore and instantly compared her to Diluc. She isn't Diluc, her damage output won't be like Diluc's, she is made for keeping people alive. Also her strong suit is her burst. Its not that her kit sucks, its a skill issue

@@6235river i also planned and did main her as soon as she came out. we (and i think i can speak for all the deyha mains) are not dissatisfied with her Kit, quite the opposite. the kit is great, the numbers are bad (in comparison) but even with that i accepted that she is a standard banner character and i will still triple (or double cause her normal attack is really useless) crown her. im at the point where i WANT to loose the 50/50 to deyha (but only to her) cause really, her cons are the most useful from all the standard banner chars. (also i already got her c3)

Thanks for the video! Dehya is one of my favorite characters so it is nice to see someone put so much energy into making her work. Also, the EM piece at 13:39 is a perfect Hu Tao piece. Since you have Homa she wants an EM sands instead of an HP sands and having one with double crit is absolutely perfect

Didn't see anyone explain it in the comments so I will: Dehya's burst ends upon jumping because it is a one continuous move, she consecutively hits opponents but you can make it faster by clicking during her burst. It does not change the fact that it is a single move which is why interrupting it with another move (such as jumping) ends it

Hell, once I feel she's properly built. (Scara won't give me the right loot when I beat him up 🤣) She will be in the party I'm planning to use on the 3mil HP boss.

@@Basedbrawler Oh yeah. His skill is pretty good. And his burst is pretty fun to watch. As a DPS, I can see why he's beloved. The pyro characters I like are Xiangling, Thoma, and Dehya. (The Knave might be added to the list later on) Xiangling is a great sub DPS with her off field attacks. Thoma is fantastic as a Burgeon support. Same with Dehya as the two protect you from interruption and knock back. Plus while on Dehya's field is active, she absorbs a lot of the damage your active character takes. And if she goes below 50% she heals herself. She's been a great addition to my team. I don't regret pulling for her.

I don't think it's asking for much to have Dehya be as good as other 5 stars that have been released thus far. My biggest complaint is her lack of synergies though. I personally find the game the most fun when you can create interesting team comps with each character synergizing off of one another. Still, this video is fun and it's making me entertain a burgeon team with her, even if it's not what I want to build her as. It's a lot more manageable than the team I had with her, Chongyun, Raiden, and Jean. Her burst is also my favorite in her kit, at least visually

To answer the question at 31:00, Thoma can burgeon much more efficiently. The issue for Dheya is she has a slower pyro than thoma. As burgeon no matter the number of available cores, only explodes 2 of them at any given instance of pyro. Her e procs every 2.5 sec granted u attack at that time while Thoma's one is every 1sec, so in case u do produce more than 2 cores every 2.5sec Dheya will end up losing dps. ad u saw in those 2 instances at max, only 2 cores burgeoned. the fact that it was an overworld situation led to the cores being fine but if there is alot of enemies slightly spread apart and coming in waves i.e spiral abyss her dps falls considerably. Not to ruin your fun, you do you Dheya has a wonderful personality amazing animations i pulled for her knowing full well that she was not gonna be anything amazing. but in saying so i do not want to insinuate that she is ok..... people compare her to koko but In my opinion, as someone who pulled on koko on release, koko even without ocean hued is quite good, (she heals and has a dps floor of 8-12k on ult) Dheya will get a set but considering some shady info it will not be enough at best i'd say on par with Diluc, which is fine. (power creep and all that still means she isn't the most enticing of pulls)

thoma is indeed a bit better for burgeon if you can get him enough ER, but dehya burgeon looks really fun to play and I love burgeon teams one other thing you could try (on really any of your builds) is using her as a support for melt + burning teams so, use rosaria, nahida, dehya, and then kinda whoever, bennett works (or shenhe even maybe?). dehya won't be doing the big numbers, rosaria will, but teams that buff cryo 4*s are fun imo

Best Dehya set is actually emblem, the leak for the next artifact is 20% hp and 10% damage bonus to skill and burst after taking damage cap at 5 iirc, correct me if I'm wrong But either way Emblem is still only a couple % weaker while Dehya need a lot of Er anyway so Emblem is better. Long story short, not worth considering unless they buff the set effect and cap the damage bonus at 70-100% instead of 50%

The reason she's not good for burgeon is the 2.5s cooldown on her elemental skill procs. All blooms have a limit of 2 instances of damage to any given mob per 0.5s. So with that long of a delay, you wind up wasting a lot of potential damage. Also, at C0, you have a 12s/20s uptime/recharge on her elemental skill, leaving an 8s gap. Thoma, meanwhile, has a 1s cooldown on his. Which means a team with Thoma instead of Dehya will do about 2x the burgeon damage. It still functions with Dehya, but that's mostly because bloom reactions scale too much with EM and really should be nerfed a bit. You can also run a hyperbloom variation of this, where you go with some hydro applicator, Nahida, Kuki, and Dehya. Then Kuki will trigger most of the stuff, but Dehya will sneak in some burgeons. This avoids the issue of too much pyro burning away your hydro/dendro, you would get by adding another pyro char to get more frequent burgeon triggers, as well as adding some overload damage potentially. Her scaling with HP% is pretty meh without C1. So at C0, you definitely want an atk% sands, or maybe an ER% one. At C1, then HP% sands is worthwhile. The Crimson Witch set is not her best. Pretty much all her damage comes from her burst, so Emblem tends to be better. She also really wants a lot of ER%, which plays into Emblem as well. So yes, you are kinda farm it for no reason. That said, it also isn't the worst set for her, especially if the teams you run her in don't require much ER. I'm currently running 2 piece Witch, 2 piece Noblesse on mine, though, as with the level of ER I'm happy with, that's about the same as Emblem would be, and, well, it'd be really hard to match the substats I have on my current artifacts. Plus I do like buffing the elmental skill a bit. Yeah, it's damage is lackluster and makes up a small portion of her damage potential, but... her burst's damage is lackluster, and using it over an actual DPS will likely reduce your team's damage, while building your team to fix that will definitely cost you damage. If you are using Dehya, maxing your damage output isn't your goal. And nope, her new set won't help her much. Its initial values result in damage about equal to what she does with Emblem. People will say the ER% from the 2 piece is more worthwhile than the 20% hp from the new set. That's definitely true at C0. At C1, it mostly just means you go for one substat rather than the other, unless you want a lot of ER%. Then the ER% 2 piece is definitely worth more. I plan to farm the new set for mine rather than Emblem. Two reasons for that. The first is that it buffs her elemental skill as well as her burst. And the second is that I hate moving artifacts around, and I have plenty of other characters that need better Emblem sets. Need variety in my farming, and I'll be seeing the Emblem domain too much as is. But, honestly, her base numbers are so bad that an artifact set can't fix her, as a set that could do that would inevitably break another character.

in my honest opinion, The basic design of her kIt is fine, it's just how they work. >Make her Skill last longer or reduce the CD. It makes absolutely no sense to have a 8s downtime on her major defensive role. >give her E procs, Either a bigger AoE and reduce the frequency to 1.5s, instead of 2.5s. Lastly, fix the bugs of her burst getting cancelled from jumping, or getting stuck on open world object. Then you will have a decent standard character, that works in specific teams without being too OP and a threat to limited units

For those few worming my dehyas burst cancels when she jumps is because it’s like dilucs, it’s one long continuous burst it isn’t a normal character buff it’s just a long burst.
