Strong work. Definitely added some years to that garage. Shocked when it started moving so much. If you had a real thick piece of 4x4 angleiron about 2' long it would have helped distribute the load better and avoid the cracking. Absolutely in the "well let's give it a shot and see what happens" line of things

It did. Yeah I've used angle iron to undermine existing block walls as well and it does work well!

I got a similar with an out building, but caused by age and drainage. May need to try this myself. The only thing I see here is those weights need to be evenly distributed or your have that floor sinking again ;)

How did they prop up the foundation where the jack was removed?

We drove the bricks and wood in there before filling with concrete around them. Old video but it's still holding up.
